It's the same way with me. Scary movies usually don't scare me. Then I watched Dawn of the Dead. Try that movie and see if you can walk through the house by yourself again at night!

i agree with blaise_jez its scared the shit out of me i had to stay up to watch another film i was so afraid to go to bed lol but i think it scared more than i thought it would cos i watched it not expecting much cos there are so many horror films that have a freaky trailer but dont end up been as scary as i thought like the film the unborn the trailer was more scary then the film itself lol and the grudge i expected it to scare the hell out of me because of the trailer now theres the 2nd paranormal activity even though the trailer looks creepy ill watch it not expecting too much sorry if my comment is long

Paranormal Activity was not scary, is was only rated R because of language and nothing scary happened, there were just 2 people in a bedroom and when they left something bad happened, nothing scary comes in or anything!

omg! i luv stephen king books and watching hrror movies by myself! a really good scary movie would be rob zombie's remake of halloween, it's freaking disturbing! if that doesn't work try the new orphan movie but don't waste time on the alternate ending, it sucks!!!!!!!!!

i have the same issue! i highly recommned After Dark or Ghost House Underground films if you can find them. they're REALLY freaky, as it's a whole series of films that aren't able to be released in theaters because apparently they're too scary for that. lol.
