Hetalia Question

So, I've been in this fandom for almost a year now...

I do apologize for putting this in a question, it was the first place I thought of. Anyways, I've been in the Hetalia fandom for almost a year now and quite honestly, I have not done much. I know I've written a few fanficitons here and there but, I would like to do more. I really would love to roleplay a character but, I sadly am TERRIBLE with roleplaying and staying in character. I do remember roleplaying as Sweden several months ago now but, even then I was not very good and I also haven't quite found the right character that would fit me. What I would REALLY love to do is cosplay but, I can't sew (though who says I can't learn~? ;3) and I have no idea where to even start. Plus, I have no idea what character I could pull off. The reason I'm even saying this is because I just want to give something back to the anime that has done so much for me. Hetalia has taught me a lot of things such as how beautiful the world is and I've met a lot of amazing people. I just want to be able to give something back in whatever way I am able to~

The only thing that I feel so hesitant about is the fact that I'm turning 25 next week and I feel far too old to be doing things like this...

I've also had trouble with finding my place in the fandom. But really, you caring so much about Hetalia has already given plenty back to it. =) If I was Himaruya, I would be honored. But if you really want to feel more involved, cosplaying is a good idea. As awful as my cosplay was (I never really learned how to properly sew XD) it was still a lot of fun. Especially if you ever get the chance to go to anime conventions. They're great places to interact with the fandom. ^ ^ It doesn't matter what character you look like, what matters is what character you love and love to represent~ You could always try your hand at making Hetalia AMV's. They're so exciting to put together and you can inspire a lot of people through them :3 I've made a few and it's really fun. Or you can even try CMV's! Or you can make fanart! And if you're not the best artist now you can progress and make some really beautiful pictures like you've seen all throughout the fandom. And age doesn't matter XD Most Hetalia fans are teenagers right now but we all know we are still going to still love it when we grow up and want to be apart of it. I know I will =)

Aw, thank you Stella-chan~ -hugs tight- I do appreciate all the suggestions. There's a lot of things people do in this fandom like AMV's and fanart as you said that I'm not very good at. I actually tried to put together an AMV at one point but, sadly video editing is rather difficult... Perhaps I'm just not being very confident in myself and my abilities but, I just feel like I can't do much. Writing is something I do love but, I do wish I could do so much more for the fandom. It kind of makes me sad that I can't do much other than just writing short little stories. I'd like to give back more than just fanfictions... Anyways, I really appreciate your wonderful words and you really made me feel a bit better~ Thank you again, Stella-chan~ :)

No problem Ren~Chan. I'm happy I could help =) You'll be great at whatever you decide to do, you just need to progress at it =) You're already a fantastic writer. Fanfictions are a huge part of every fandom and since you love writing that's something I know you can get very far in ^ ^ You just need to make them more well known and I'm sure so many people will love them~

You give us a break from getting stuck in a long-winded plot unlike many fanfics. Cosplaying would be cool as well. Age won’t really matter. You know pretty well that I’m in the same boat as you. I actually think Hetalia was originally meant for adult fans like people who were around the same age as Himaruya, based on the hints on the blog requests and racy contents. But you know, there are more active teenagers online so no wonder we are outnumbered.

Also, trust me, you're never too old! c: I'm still much younger than you, but honestly many other Hetalians my age look up to the older people in the fandom as role models. You'd never look 'weird' or 'too old' for any of the stuff you want to do. c:

I've tried my hand at fanfictions, rping, drawing, doing covers of the songs... but I always manage to just be inconsistent at all of them and never bother posting anything that I've made. I would really like to try making AMV's and cosplaying too, but I never really had the time to do anything lately. :( I've felt the same way in many different fandoms, but I can't really do anything to give back to them because they've done so much for me. Although just being in a fandom and being immensely grateful to it is probably already very honoring to the creator. ~ But you should keep trying to find something you like if you really want to. =) I'm sure you can find something to give back to the fandom if you really want to.

P.S. I've always liked your fanfictions Ren nee-chan ~
