want2watcheroes is right. and if you remember at the beginning of volume 3 mohinder says he sent her away to keep her safe because of what happened in "Powerless" with sylar.
All i remember is that at the beggining of season 3, mohinder said that she was sent away so she could be safe..

yea but where exactly did he send her? i mean, its not like she has other family, otherwise matt and mohinder wouldn't have taken her... oh, and why did matt want to die until he found out he had a kid, when he still has molly? did he just forget her? it makes no sense...
