It's finally Friday, and all of us are antsy. Aimee and I are sitting in Defense Against the Dark Arts, and it's the last class of the day. Professor Hopkirk is full swing into a lesson, and she's perfectly aware that no one is listening to her.
''And so, that's the full cycle of a werewolf.'' She finishes. ''And because none of you were listening, I want a two page essay on it.''
The class groans. ''But it's the weekend!'' We protest.
''And you should've listened to me when I was teaching.'' The bell rings, and we all get up and leave.
''That old bat,'' Aimee grumbles. ''Has to give an essay on the first weekend of the year..''
I actually don't mind the essay, it'll give me something to do this weekend - beside think about Hugo. He got detentions for a month, starting today, and I actually feel bad for him. I know that if he hadn't been sucked in by those Slytherins, he might've been only getting detentions for the usual stuff - like pranking with James.
Speaking of James, he's pretty pissed at Hugo as well. James is like his father, spot on - it's scary if you think about it. Aimee and I walk back to the Common Room to meet Lizzie so we can all do homework together, but when we walk in, something's wrong.
The furniture is all moved around, and there are holes and tears in the arms of the chairs. The rugs have been removed, so that there's only wood paneled flooring. There's stuffing all over the floor, and everyone in the common room is just standing around, unsure of what to do.
Aimee walks in. ''Well, we better clean this up.'' She's abnormally calm. She leans down and starts to grab some stuffing and puts it into a bag. ''We can find somebody to sew it later,'' She explains.
But at that moment, Professor McGonagall, our Head of House, walks in.
''What is this?'' She asks, with a hint of insanity. All of us shrink away, she can be scary when she's pissed off.
''I must tell the headmaster about this,'' She explains, and before leaving, adds, ''Clean as much of it up as you can.''
She leaves, and that's just what we do. Clean. I wonder what Hugo would say about this, if he would think it was horrible, or if he would be pissed off. Thinking about Hugo makes me think about Roxy, Fred, Al, James, and Lily. Where are they? But no time to think about that now, we have to clean up our haven.

Three Hours Later, 5:00 P.M.
We've finally cleaned up of the mess as much as possible, but it still doesn't look like home. And my cousins still haven't appeared. Where could they possibly be?
My answer comes in the form of a first year girl.
''Lily Potter told me to give this to you,'' She whispers. ''No reply needed.'' And she walks off. What she - or Lily - has given me is a scrap piece of parchment, and it's obviously a note. I open it, and read:
Rosie,
We (Roxy Fred James Al and I) apologize for not meeting with you today, you must be a bit confused. But we need to talk. The six of us. Meet us in Hagrid's hut after dinner, and don't be seen!
Lily
The six of us. She left out Hugo. That tells me that this meeting might possibly be about him, or some other crisis that's happening in the Weasley/Potter family. Something always is. I know I have to go to this ''meeting'', but I'm dreading it.
It means I'm going to have to face the facts about Hugo.

Dinner in the Great Hall, 7:00 P.M.
As usual, I'm sitting with Aimee and Lizzie. But the absence of my family down the table bothers me, because why aren't they here to at least eat? Maybe they ate a big lunch. I pick at my food, only eating my peas.
''Rosie, it's fried chicken today. Your favorite.'' Lizzie says, and looks at me with concern. ''Are you okay?''
''Fine,'' I say, and manage a small smile.
I just want to get this meeting over with.

After Dinner, 8:00 P.M.
Finally dinner's over, and I go back to our dormitory. I sit there and work on my essay, until everyone goes to bed. When everyone's gone, I get up, slowly, and leave the dormitory.
My father always said that it was hard to sneak out after dark, but at least he had an invisibility cloak! All I have is the fact that my shoes don't squeak. I'm close to the entrance of the school, so close to slipping out, when -
''Going somewhere?'' Hugo's voice is cold.
''Isn't it obvious?'' I say, with equal sarcasm.
''Ooh, look, Rose's being naughty! I should tell Mum and Dad.''
''Go ahead,'' I say. ''I'll tell them about your little plan.'' I try to look defiant, and I think it works because all the color drains from Hugo's face.
''You wouldn't.'' He whispers.
''You know I won't, that's not mine to tell.''
''Just be careful and avoid getting in detention,'' He says, and spins on his heel.
I have tricked Hugo, tricked him into thinking I wouldn't tell Mum and Dad. I would, but only if this little game of his went too far. I step out onto the grass of the castle grounds, and walk towards Hagrid's hut.
The lights being on gives a friendly aura, and I can't wait to see Hagrid, and Fang. But when I knock on the door, I get no sounds except of feet checking through the window if it's really me.
Lily opens the door and says ''Hi'' breathlessly. I step in, and instead of seeing Roxy, Fred, James, and Al, I see also: Teddy, Louis, Victoire, Dominique, Molly, and Lucy. Seeing my cousins makes me want to cry, because I miss them - the old Weasley/Potter family - so much.
''Hi,'' I whisper. Dominique smiles at me, and I smile back. Hagrid's hut is cramped, and I take a seat next to Lucy, who also smiles at me. Louis stands.
''So, as we all know, someone here is missing.'' He looks at me. ''Hugo?'' He asks.
I shoot a glance at Lily. ''Didn't you tell them?'' ''I was, but.. then you came.'' She grins sheepishly. Lily and I fill the rest of our cousins in, and their expressions range from shock to anger.
''But it's not Hugo's fault, entirely.'' Molly says. ''He probably was talked into it.''
''Doesn't matter!'' Louis explodes. ''He still is plotting something, and I want to know what.'' Our heads nod in agreement.
''I mean, I'll try and be on the lookout for them again,'' I say. ''But it might be harder since I just let Hugo know.''
''Okay,'' Louis says. ''At least we have something.''
''Rose?'' Victoire asks me. ''Do your parents know?''
I gulp, and answer. ''My Mum does, but Dad doesn't. He'll be furious.''
''Well, he'll have to know eventually. Sooner than later.'' Teddy's eyes are soft, and looking at me with guilt. ''But I have a question for you, Rose.''
This startles me a bit. What if it's something I can't answer, like if I'm mad at my brother? ''Yes..?'' I mumble.
''What is all this talk of the dementor and your bedroom?''
This fazes me. Roxy sits up in intrest, and so does Fred. ''It..sorta..floated into my room. And I saw it and freaked out.'' Teddy and everyone else's mouths form an 'o', they're clearly surprised.
''Dementors? Wandering around?'' This hasn't happened since..''
I never really thought of it, but Teddy's right. The last time Dementors roamed freely was during the fight aganist-
''Voldemort,'' Lily whispers, and we all look around curiously, because at a point, the name was a taboo.
''We shouldn't be worried about him. He's gone.'' Molly sounds like she's trying to convince herself more than us.
But suddenly, the whole thing clicks in my head.
''The 'bracelet', Aimee's Defense Against the Dark Arts book going missing, and the 'second requirement'.. they're making horcruxes. They're going to try and be a second Voldemort.''
Everyone turns to look at me, gawk at me, but then Albus speaks.
''That's probably what it is.''

And if you say no, then don't worry. I'll make it make more sense in the future. Again, thanks to all for reading! Comment please, speak your opinion! I apologize for any grammatical errors.

I admire the concept of magic from my very childhood. When i was 10 years old i came across the first book of harry potter. and soon i fell in love with the leading character harry. it was not until the age of 12 that i watched the movie. both the book and the movie has applied magic on me and the most exciting psrt of the series is the connection between harry and voldemort. these mind blowing adventurous series has won my heart unlike any other book. Its my pleasure to join the fanpop and show myself as a fan of harry potter. this is the first time i have been able to express my viwes on this hilarious book
thank u fanpop
i love harry potter

I'll make this short but why did the movies do this. In the books Padma Patil was a ravenclaw while in the movies she was gryfindor. Now just like how Harry's eyes are green in the book and blue in the movie (yes I know Dan cant wear the contacts) but it is , in my opinion ANNOYING! Whats with all these stuff ups?
I mean in deathly hallows part one Harry was himself not barry. I mean WTF? Also in Prisoner of Azkaban in the quidditch match, cedric caught the snitch as Harry fell. But in the movies he got struck by lightning.
Obviously someone else in the world thinks that the movies stuff ups a little annoying. Does anyone agree/disagree i want to hear. (Please dont be offensive though and have ago at my intelligence, its happened before and quite annoying)also I know the movies are great so dont think i hate them.

It was a crisp autumn eve on the Hogwarts express. Albus, James and Rosie where eating cauldron cakes and goofing off, when suddenly an owl soared by and tapped furiously on the glass. Albus opened the window and the owl burst in and stuck out its leg at Albus. Albus unstrapped the note attached to its leg. The owl stared into Albus' eyes and glared.
Then without another backwards glance it took off. "What does it say?" said Rosie who looked terrified. Albus read aloud "potter, if you ever want to see your parents again you will meet me outside the shrieking shack at midnight on Halloween." "Its signed lord Voldemort" said James.
"This doesn't add up" said Rosie. " well we will have to discuss this later because now’s the sorting." Albus said. “cross your fingers that we all get in the same house." said James. "We will!" they all said in unison.
