Harry Potter Question

You could have met a wizard....

I was thinking about this a few days ago and it could actually be supported lol. So, do you think that maybe you've have had an encounter with a wizard or witch but your memory of it has just been erased or 'obliviated?' We could have met a witch or wizard and have been magically made to forget it and not even know it! And no one could say that it would never happen or that wizards aren't real because they wouldn't remember!! This is my theory, what do ya think of it? :3
