Can anybody explain the books to me?

Okay if I tried to explain it it would be like 40000 words long. Why don't you just read the books?

All I can really say is that they are completely different than the movies. You'd have to read them yourself to find out, but there are many differences, and the movies could never even compare to the books :)

You want ten years of reading a saga to be explained?! Don't you have any idea the moments and details you're gonna miss? Just read the books, it's a lot to explain. And by the way I just wanna say I wouldn't get mad if I didn't get the answer that explains it all...
Just read the books, they're awesome, fun. You'll get so into the story you'll finish them in no time...
