What I mean is do people of your fandom say something negative if you don't like a majority of the aspects of your favorite series (i.e. a character, book, movie, author, etc.)

Sometimes I feel that others don't think I'm a real HP fan because I do not like A Very Potter Musical. They'll be like "You don't like it?!" and they get shocked. I'm not sure if they think I'm weird or not a true fan, but whatever. I still love the books and the movies and the characters.

I feel more pressured when I forget certain things about the books.
Usually I'm yelled at for not remembering, and called a muggle, hah.

No. I'm not obligated to like anyone. I'm entitled to my own opinions. As a fan of both, I probably have more....ah..."freedom" on this aspect than others, but I have never felt obligated to like things. Like I'll complain about things that I didn't like in Harry Potter, for instance. And there are those, but no, I've never felt pressured to love love LOVE everything about it.

Ha, coming from a fandom where half the fans hate either Edward or Jacob, not at all.

A LOT of Harry Potter fans get defensive (I probably used to too, so not too much hate there), but it's like if you don't like Bellatrix or Draco people think you're weird or something like that. I'm not fully influenced by that, considering HP is not my life, it's just a thing that's pokes you in the back of the head erryonce in a while.

Sometimes people act like you're not a proper fan just because you don't like Snape or AVPM or something and I happen to dislike both of those, so it's quite annoying.

Especially when it comes to me not liking some of the more "popular" characters and actors.
