A lot of things could be changed for it to better fit my taste, but the same goes for every book I've ever read.

Some suggestions... I think all the death scenes could have been made more interesting.
Instead of just burrying Dobby on the beach, or wherever it was ther burried him, they could have skinned his body and made him into a pair of loafers. That way, he can be eternally with socks.
Dumbledore, I'm pretty sure I've said this before somewhere, should have been stuffed and displayed in the Hogwarts dining hall.

Harry should have taken a post-mortem picture with Collin.
It would have been great if Snape stole a piece of Lily's body that he could forever idolize. Maybe a finger or an entire hand.
Voldemore should have kept James's body and used it as a puppet or trophy, anything like that.
George should have taken Fred's ear and had it surgically attached to his head.
Bellatrix should have been completely mutilated. Needles poked into her eyeballs and such. (revenge for all the torture)

It may seem like I'm joking, but I'd seriously enjoy all of this.

A change in writing style would be nice as well.

I hope you weren't serious with that level of gore Cassie... on the other hand, would you mind defining troll for me please.

I kind of was serious, I just really love gore that doesn't involve much violence.

I think Rowling summed up everything pretty well. A back story for Bellatrix would be nice but I think that'll just be a bit much :/

^I agree! Bellatrix deserved a back story for her loyalty to Voldemort and about her life leading to that point.

Yah! A story for Bellatrix!

I think a love story for her would be nice :) I'm just curious on how someone as pretty as her could fall for a snake with legs like Voldemort :/

I think a backstory would be cool as well, but there are already so many complicated backstories perhaps another one would be a tad too much.

Everything has room for improvement. Nothing is 100% perfect, so of course it could have been written better.

Yeah.
The epilogue removed would've made it a lot better. Of course, every book as room for improvement.

Who said I had any suggestions?
No,the 'Harry Potter' series is perfect the way it is.You can't take something that is already perfect and make it more perfect, its impossible.
Twilight,on the other hand, needs a lot of work to make it better.

I love it the way it is. It's bloody brilliant, and I don't think it could be written any better. But of course, that's MY opinion...
I don't know what you guys think.

To be honest I thought the first two books weren't written that great. From the third book and on, they well all amazing.
The way I look at was Jo was trying to find her style; and then by the third book she found it.

Exactly

That's because the first 2 books are for readers that are very young. that's why it's at a 4th grade reading level. I think by book 3 or 4 Rowling started to realize that she was getting more adult fans than kids so she changed the writing up a little bit :)

I started reading them when I was young, so it would have been confusing if it written for a higher level than they were.

To me it was perfect but I would have liked a tad bit more romance. Especially w/ Ginny and Harry. Im glad they had a mid-battle kiss in the movies. Wish they did in the books. But thats just a very minor suggestion. Other than that HARRY POTTER RULES:))) <3<3<3<3

I would have enjoyed seeing Ginny's character develop more. She went from the shy, timid first year to a feisty fourth year, and I have no idea how.
