Isabella and Jacob are U.S. top baby names!

Ah , yes. Twili**t moms.
What the hell. I'm , actually, pretty suprised that Twili**t moms have enough brain to not name their children 'Renesmee'. If they did - that would be even worse than It's now. Naming someone Cullen doesn't mean he will be "SUPER EXTRA MEGA HOT" , and naming someone Bella doesn't mean she will meet a perfect boyfriend , and be "perfect" herself , raise a demon child , and live "happily ever after". Some of them won't be happy when their children grow up , because they won't love Twili**t so much when they are 45 or something .
And if some of those who are named like that ever READ Twili**t , what if they hate it ? I'm sure I wouldn't like to be named Bell after a Mary Sue fictional character in a book that I strongly dislike. Those poor innocent souls :(

I'm almost positive Jacob was a top baby name before Twilight became popular. Not sure about Isabella though...

Jacob has been the #1 most popular name longer then Twilight has existed. As for Isabella, I'll admit it wasn't the #1 most popular, but still exceedingly popular before Twilight.

If you access this link, it shows you the most popular names from the year of...somewhere in the late 1890's to the year of 2009.

You could type in the year "2001", and it will show you that Jacob has always been #1. Isabella slowly became higher on the rank since the year 2000.

I'm not trying to be argumentative. But I really don't think that Twilight has that much influence into how popular a name is becoming.

=) I hate the name Jacob, always had. Even though one of my good friends is named Jacob...

LOL if I have twin children, I would name them "Wi" and "Fi"

I'm naming my kid Riley, whether its a girl or a boy. :D It's my favorite name ever.

Damn you Twilight. At least I know what names to avoid in the future. If I ever have kids, these are names that I would give them:
