It seems that Hollywood directors don't really care about making a good or statement adaption that can live up from its original work but just to gain our money. Which is sad because fairy tales were made purposely for the viewer to teach us life lessons. Just because these fairy tales seem "kiddish" doesn't mean that a director can't make a good more unique film.

I have to say that I think Tommy Wirkola's adaptation of Hansel and Gretel looks like it has been thought out and creativity has been put into it. He seems to be making this film with care and fun. But I still am a bit worried that...
