About
A new site has opened for Hakuouki Sweet School Life on 26th April 2013! With many undetermined information and only some released. Hakuouki: SSL Is a "Dōjinshi" or official fan-published spin-off of the SSL that was featured in the Zuisouroku fandisc; Rather than SSL being a clip-note like in Zuisouroku, SSL is it's own game, where a change of settings, from the end of a Shogunate period to a modern academic theme, takes stage. Although the design of the characters are different, the nature of it remains.
This game is, by no means to be confused with the SSL in Zuisouroku, however the values of the two games are the same.
Story
The fluttering Sakura. Spring~a season of blessing for new encounters. Chizuru Yukimura knocks on the gates of a private academy, which has since been a boys' school. However, as of this year, Hakuou Academy opens its gates to co-education and Chizuru is the only female student enrolled. Thus, begins her first year.
Note: This story is a spin-off work of Hakuouki.
Characters
Yukimura Chizuru
The main character of the setting; a first year and the only female student of Hakuou Academy. With an invitation from childhood friend Toudou, she resolves to enroll in the institution. She lost her parents at an early age and has since been living with Yukimura Koudou, a distant relative. She has a twin brother called Nagumo Kaoru, who lives separately in another family. Their relationship has been estranged then.
Hijikata Toshizou
The Homeroom Teacher of Second Year, Form One, who teaches the Classics and is also a Disciplinarian Adviser. He acts on behalf of Kondou as an Assistant Principal presiding over most of the school management and is a childhood friend of Kondou as well. In his varsity years, he is Kazama's classmate and till now, is still at loggerheads with him. Hijikata currently lives alone in a mansion near the school and is a habitual smoker.
Okita Souji
A Second Year, Form One student from the Kendo Club who loves making fun of people. Due to his weak constitution since young, he took up kendo to train himself. Another reason, was due to the guidance from Kondou, whom he looks up to as an elder brother. Adversely, he is sworn enemies with Hijikata. His latest obsession is smartphone photography and image editting.
Saitou Hajime
A Second Year, Form Two student and a member of the Discipline Committee. Has a quiet nature and holds respect for Hijikata. Together with Okita and Toudou, he belongs to the Kendo Club.
Toudou Heisuke
A Second Year, Form One student who belongs to the Kendo Club. He lives as a neighbor of the Yukimuras and grew up with Chizuru as a childhood friend since young. He likes games but above all, he loves kendo.
Harada Sanosuke
The Health & Physical Education teacher, whose frank personality wins him a high popularity among students.
Kazama Chikage
A mysterious Third Year, Form Three student and the president of the Student Council. In spite of being an university graduate, he enrolls in Hakuou Academy. He's a former university classmate of Hijikata and is not on good terms. He makes full use of his authority in the Student Council, owning most of the property in the Student Council's room and wears a custom-made uniform.
Nagakura Shinpachi
Despite his tracksuit attire, Shinpachi teaches Math & Science at Hakuou Academy & He is just as vivacious & boisterous as is his Edo period counterpart.\
Kondou Isami
The founder, head principal & Kendo coach of Hakuou academy, He has an easygoing personality and is kind, thoughtful & very passionate about the well being of his students, however he seems to have a bad habit of training in the halls. He lives in a deserted dojo as his home.
Ibuki Ryunosuke
The adoptive son of PTA Chairman Serizawa Kamo and classmate of Chizuru, who always eats anpan and milk. Due to being cash-strapped, he makes little earning by being a Jack-of-all-trades in school. He has his own shop at the entrance of the rooftop.
Serizawa Kamo
One of the financial contributors during the founding of the academy and the adoptive father of Ryunosuke. He serves as the Chairman of the PTA as well.
Sannan Keisuke
He serves in the management of the academy, as well as the school health physician. A person of calm demeanor.
Yamazaki Susumu
A Second Year, Form Two student who works under Sannan in the Health Committee. Seemed previously to be at loggerheads with Ryunosuke. Respects Hijikata.
Nagumo Kaoru
A First Year, Form Two student and the twin brother of Chizuru. He serves in the Discipline Committee.
Suzuka Sen
An old friend of Chizuru, who is worried about her ever since her enrollment in an all boys academy. She comes from an established family dealing with tea ceremony. A student from Shimabara Girls' High School.
