Gossip Girl has resorted to political drama, celebrity gossip and child play in order for a good story to have its punchline. All they manage to achieve is constant chaos and overachievers that just grew up too quickly.


In this case, politics and celebrities does equate the vile drama and disarray with the touch of gossip somewhere in the middle, but I got lost to the point where Gossip Girl kept narrating the lives of the tarnished and the only text message received was to Dan's phone about Olivia's personal spill on live television. I think Gossip Girl has lost her touch, her witty remarks...

*This oneshot is not connected at all with the other fanfiction I put up on here. It takes place sometime into Season 2. Blair has tried everything to make Chuck jealous and even if there are signs of it occurring, they are very subtle. Chuck had tried his very best to put on a brave face and appears to be the very Bass he was, before he ever slept with Blair. Blair finally cannot take it anymore. She is heartbroken. She wants only him and can’t even seem to create misery for him to make him pay for what he’s done. She goes to him, to confront him on her feelings and to question his own....

We thought we'd give a few suggestions that could be useful when you write your letters.

- Write what issues you have with the show. It's great when people write eloquently, but that's not completely necessary. It doesn't have to be in perfect English or even that long. Just write what you feel, because that's the most important thing. You can even just send a postcard with a short note on it if you want.

- Make a copy of your letter and send it as an email too. Even though we think physical letters will work better, there's still no harm in sending emails as well.

I didn't think I would ever say this, especially with what the writers had done with her. After a season and a half, I can safely say I liked her in the latest episode.

The scene where Penelope "gives" the Queen B title to Jenny, and Jenny was all "what the hell are you on about?" Yeah, that won it over for me.

Also there was the whole Jenny/Eric chemistry shining through. I feel like the writers wasted a good thing with Eric. They made him gay, and what now? He doesn't even have a decent storyline or romance. *sigh* But I digress.

As September draws closer, more spoilers, set photos, and potential storylines are being leaked to the public for what is to come for our favorite Upper East Siders. While some look potentially promising, others make you stop and wonder "What meds are the GG writers on?!" It seems as though they're attempting to boost ratings by any means possible (European Royals, Elizabeth Hurley, or visits to L.A. ring any bells?) Personally, I would rather refer back to the greatness of the earlier Gossip Girl seasons and recomend the producers bring back some much loved favorites...
