Blair: *breaking down over something...not sure what exactly, sees Chuck* Hold me, Chuck
Chuck: *heart melts for her and he reaches to hold her*
Blair: *snaps back when she feels his skin on her, it scares her* No. I-I can't. You're broken me too many times...*turns around in a fluster, and across the room--running into Nate*
Nate: Blair...*notices she's upset*...what's wrong? *concerned*
Blair: I....uh...oh Nate, hold me...*she's weak and frail*
Nate: *tries to hold her*
Blair: *suddenly backs off, b/c it just doesn't feel right to lie like this anymore* NO. I can't. I won't. This, us, it's not real, & I won't live like this anymore. *runs off--leaving Nate confused as usual*
Chuck: *follows her outside inconspicuously. He comes up behind her without her realizing, takes his jacket off and puts it around her shoulders*
Blair: *realizes it's Chuck and shrugs the jacket it off, giving it back to him--trying to distance herself*
Chuck: *grabs onto her shoulders though before she can get away, she struggles but ultimately can't get out of his grasp, and starts pounding on his chest, sobbing, trying to get away...eventually she grows weak and crumbles on top of him, crying about how she shouldn't want him anymore...how she shouldn't need him, but she does. He holds her to him and gentle soothes her with his words, stroking her hair and rubbing her back softly in mesmerizing strokes* You told me to hold you. Since when could I say no?

Nate: *looks shocked, still intertwining hands with Vanessa*

Serena: *notices Blair is leaving* Blair! Where are you going? *doesn't know whether to follow blair or try to stop the fight*

Nate: And like you haven't?! Where's your mask princess?!
Chuck: *punches him more*

Chuck: *holds back a final punch* what?
Nate: *stands up and backs away, putting hand to bleeding lip* when I told you it was good you moved on, you agreed...
Chuck: *silent, lowering his fist*
Vanessa: *suddenly erupts from somewhere* Oh my god, Nate! *runs to him*
Chuck: *in shock of the whole situation*
Nate: *allows Vanessa to hold him*
Vanessa: *looks back and forth between chuck and nate, says nothing, but leads nate away*
Chuck: *says nothing more, ignoring the stares of the guests starting to crowd around, looks to Serena*
Serena: *raises an eyebrow to him, concerned*
Chuck: *huffs, and stalks off in the direction Blair went*
Blair: *trying to hail a taxi but none stop for her*
Chuck: I thought you hated taxis.
Blair: *suddenly still-silent* You can't always get what you want.
Chuck: *comes up from behind her and lightly touches her shoulders*
Blair: *breathing quickens*
Chuck: *wraps his arm around her waist*
Blair: *relaxes into him* Can't always get...*choking on words*...what you need *eyes slowly close at his prescence*
Chuck: I'm sorry, Blair.
Blair: *quiet*
Chuck: I didn't mean to hurt you.
Blair: *sighs* I know, Chuck. *turns around in his arms* I know.

Blair: *puts her hand up to silence him* It's ok.

Blair: *tears shining in eyes, bites bottom lip lightly, brings her hands up to cradle his face and he leans his head into her hands, she leans her head forward so their foreheads are touching...breathing slowing* I love you too.
