At the moment, I don't think the writers care about all the discontinuities in the plot

Unfortunately Connor isn't a full-time cast member so he isn't going to be in every episode. But I have noticed aswell he hasn't been in episode recently. But I remember a spoiler or something about him getting a new boyfriend! So hopefully that was true and he may show up in an upcoming episode? :)
