I'm thinking of starting to watch Gossip Girl, any help?

Hey, You should totally start watching gossip girl. You have missed sooo much!
I will give it a shot at describing what the show is about without giving you too much away and ruining the show for you.
Here goes...
In season 1. GossipGirl is spreading blasts that Serena is coming back to the upper east side after being sent to boarding school under mysterious circumstances and know body knows the truth. Her BFF Blair is now the queen B of the upper east side and is the girlfriend to Nate. They have supposedly been going out since kindergarten. Unknown to Blair that Nate has been more than just friends to Serena before her disapearence. Nate is also having pressure from both his mother and farther about his choices in college. Chuck Bass (Best quote EVER!!) is best friends with Nate and is a womanizer. He is also the richest as his farther is a billionaire. Serena's brother starts the season in rehab and his mother has moved out of the family home into a hotel room while it is being redecorated. Once serena is back she meets Dan humphrey, the son of rufus humphrey who we discover has had a previous relationship with serenas mother without their knowledge. Dan is a loner and not in the upper east side circle. He also lives in brooklin. His best friend is Vanessa, who doesn't come into the series until later on. Dans sister is Jenny and she wants to be in the circle. She becomes Blair's slave to prove herself to her. Dan and Jennys mother has left the family home and later in the season jenny goes to bring her home. Throughout this season - without revealing too much info - a couple get together, there are fights, gossip girl blasts, crying, a wedding and plenty of drama.

I hope this has not been too much information. You must watch this show!!! It is so addicting. I will not explain season 2 and 3 to you as it will ruin the first season and your enjoyment of watching.

Hmm.. I don't really know any similar shows. But a tips, watch it on " watch-gossip-girl.com " It's an very active site, and there always the latest episodes, news and polls.

And btw, the books are great. It's kind of the same start, but after the first book, or maybe the second, it gets a whole new storyline ^^

Where were you for the last few years?!
That show is incredible :]
There is a lot going on & season 1/2 are very interesting.
And I think that ultimate you told you enough of the summary!

Watch the first season, it's excellent, then don't even bother watching seasons two and three. The way such a promising show goes downhill over those two seasons is depressing.

Of course you should start.

i think you have missed a great series of your lifetime. Above you have got the real face of gossip girl. So go for it.

Gossip girl is a very special show. It is about a bigger,better life. If put it in compare i would say it is by far the best Drama show ever.
Other show like OTH,Glee, it might be good, but it can never archive the awesome-ness of GG. I mean rich kids stuff...it never get old. This is High school, not chessy cheerleading or jog stuff.It's so much more !

You should watch Gossip Girl.
