Yes, I believe in it. But I don't believe that everything in the Bible is literal.

Or at least, most likely not. I think a lot of the books in the Bible were written for political, rather than religious, reasons. Also, a lot of the things in the Bible go against a lot of Jesus' teachings, so I think that's a bit inconsistent. :|

The Bible was written by man, and what was told over time wasn't actually written down until decades/centuries after it occurred. Stories were exaggerated, memories were faulty, words were misconstrued, and the Old Testament isn't actually about Christianity. To my knowledge, the Old Testament came from ancient Hebrew writings and told the stories of God's people long before God sent Jesus as our savior, not to mention, the bible has been interpreted over & over again many times, thus we have the King James Version, the New International Version and etc. So do I believe everything in the Bible as a literal fact? Not really, I just simply put it in context rather than to believe it literally word for word.

yes most certainly. there is no greater and more truer word, than the word of god. and there never will be.
