SNSD Rewrites Girl Group History, Again

SNSD have once again re-written girl group history, this time breaking their own record and setting a new one by being the first girl group to exceed 200,000 in album sales.

On November 10, Gaon Chart, which is a certified music chart, announced that SNSD’s 3rd full album “The Boys” sold 227,994 albums in the month of October. What is even more surprising is the fact that because this album was released on October 19, it means that over 200,000 albums was sold within two weeks.

I don't know if each of SNSD's fans knows about this. So, I've decide to share about it.

As an information, Korea's Ministry of culture, sports and tourism was serious when they stated that they were in full support of spreading K-pop and Korea to the world! Since the statement was made, the ministry had done a lot of things in order to achieve their goal.

One of it is the release of the Seoul Song. What makes this song interesting is the singers are SNSD and SuJu and the MV is just like a love story in one of beautiful cities in the world, Seoul. So, I guess it can be called as their latest song.

Girls’ Generation alum Jessica Jung attempted to return to her former group but her friends reportedly turned her down.

A year after Jung’s departure from the popular K Pop group, several speculations emerged on the possible reason behind her sudden exit and her alleged attempt to return to the group.

Twitter user @RealSamchon revealed that Jung initially planned to go on hiatus after Girls’ Generation’s Tokyo Dome tour last year, but she had a change of heart and asked to stay in the group.

However, the members did not want to let her back. In fact, they had already prepared for her farewell...

Taeyeon shared a heartwarming photo with her mother !

She uploaded the above photo onto her Instagram and wrote, “It’s been a very, very long time since my mother did my hair“.

In the photo, her mother was gently braiding Taeyeon’s hair, and Taeyeon managed to get a photo of their reflection in the mirror.

It was a rare opportunity for Taeyeon’s mother to help with her daughters hair since that’s usually left for the stylists of Girls’ Generation or Taeyeon herself.

Hey there. I think that I'll be doing music reviews about SNSD from now on, and also the occasional rant. I thought that since we all like/love their music that I'd be interested in writing these. I'll be covering both their Korean and Japanese albums/songs and also some of the members OSTS since most OSTS are beautiful and just pure heaven! Also, I can take requests if you want me to write about a song but I'll mostly just write about songs that I enjoy, or obsessed with listening to. I also wanted to start it now because I still can't wait for SNSD's comeback and I'm super excited about it! So, if you could please give me some ideas for songs I could review, that could be great!
