The Day When It All Started.
So, I had planned this for almost a month now, and now I can finally post my articles! I've been waiting and waiting for the chance to finally post it, because it was firstly, it was my first and biggest idea to do these interviews with the fans (which I never thought about doing), and it had such a bigger response than I thought it would, so it was killing me waiting for this day! So, now that we got that out of the way...
In honor of SNSD's 7th Anniversary, I asked some fans a few questions about their experiences with GG, and here's what they had to say!

Syltre: This might sound silly but I was first introduced to SNSD by a video called "YouTubers React to K-pop" by the Fine brothers. From this video, I went to watch SNSD's IGAB and I immediately fell in love with SNSD. This all happened in November of 2013. I know this because I knew SNSD about a week or two before SNSD won the YouTube music awards.
DaniMF: I was introduced last summer by a friend.
kpop4everlover: Well, when I was younger, my sister and I used to sing and dance to Gee but in 2012 when I was a bit older, I got introduced to k-pop by one of my cousins. Soon after that, I found out about SNSD and joined fanpop in late 2013!
lumina_louella: I think it was 2009(?) during the Genie era. I accidentally watch their MV through a local music channel.
Tippany: It was back in early 2010, basically when I was just flipping through the channels I saw SNSD's 'Oh!' music video on Mnet America.
sandra311: It was in the year 2009. I was watching a Mv from BoA (my first Kpop Artist) and I wanted to know more of other Kpop Artists, so I searched in Youtube "Kpop" and at that time Snsd's "Gee" was the first search result. So I watched the Mv and I was impressed by their dancing and singing skills and ofc their looks.So after this Mv, I became a Sone <3
denise333: From the knowledge right through Yoona with Cinderella Man. I love this drama, I think I liked Yoona but for her beauty (as surface Lol) then found out more about her, and I found a song called Hoot I really liked, especially the dance with the bows, then I decided to find out more about them, and I found I also like Gee, the song was very catchy and they were so nice.
49days: I'm start know SNSD through Gee's mv. I also knew about them from my friend that really likes kpop.
snsd_hyo: Their hit song which is Gee... Since that, i watch that mv almost everyday ^^
BlackPearlLuver: I was introduced to them through a Youtuber named Michelle Phan. She had Mr Taxi in one of the videos and The boys so I checked it out last year.
K-PopXD: My friend introduced me to snsd in 2007.
pearlxashxdawn: I knew SNSD when I was 10~11 years old. My two friends are major SONES so I felt like I'm left out. I wanna know what they're talking about. They showed me 2 MVs of SNSD. I was surprised, there were so many of them; I thought they were all pretty and sexy.
mnpl: It was on 2012, SNSD was my first k-pop group. I was just seeing "Youtube's top 100" and Tiffany's Twinkle teaser was on 6th, I guess I thought something like "Oh, a cute girl, what is this?" and then I saw the video and start to feel interested about that girl and then about all the girls <3
miauu: In October 2012, I saw a video from Shinee's concert where they were singing "Stand By Me" - my favorite song from drama "Boys Over Flowers." That concert was held in NY. Then I paid attention to other recommended videos. I was surprised to see a girl group with a lot of girls, besides they all had white clothes and the name 'SNSD' captured my attention. I looked this concert's video up and I fell in love... <3

Jesmile: I came to know about snsd through a friend. She introduced me to snsd as "The Band of the Generation" XD and made me listen to their song. This is how i was first introduced with/to Girls' Generation^^
naoimings: In summer 2013, I was on YouTube and I kept on hearing about kpop and how everyone is obsessed, so I looked for it on YouTube, I found SNSD's Gee, and I got addicted.
leva0311: I think it was 2 years ago when I started to listen KPOP. My friend here in Fanpop showed me some songs and I started to like them.
Nima9: Basically one of my friends introduced me to Kpop. She showed me lots of kpop MVs and one of them was "Genie".
Actually, at first they didn't catch my eye because of that MV. I didn't see something special in it and they became an ordinary group for me. (I still really don't like the Genie MV, but the song is perfect)
But after I fell in love with Kpop (actually after all of my friend's attempts), I searched a lot about Kpop bands so I noticed that SNSD is a very popular group around the world, then I began to search more about them. and inside of my searches I found "Gee" and this song made its way into my favorites list.
But I became a fan after I listened to "Oh". I think it was around 2012.
Aya_tz: Well, I watched TheFineBros' "Kids React to Kpop" reactions, and I thought WTC (what the cookie) is that. But then, I started to watch YouTube 100, and SNSD were 2nd with IGAB, It was on January 7th, 2013.

so I fell in love with their music and the SNSD members <3333
siong97: At the end of 2010.
CutieBunny: I heard SHINee's Ring Ding Dong on TV and in our country Korean songs aren't really famous so I wanted to listen to it again. Once I got addicted to SHINee I wanted to know more about them and I checked their Wikipedia. Because they were from SM I wanted to check out other artists from the same agency and landed on SNSD. this was in 2009.
zanhar1: I was on YouTube and I was watching Kara’s Lupin. SNSD’s Gee was under related videos so I clicked it.
Ryeona: This is quite a hard question. haha! I remember cutting out a picture of snsd from the newspaper without knowing who they were just because they seemed cool. I thought they were Japanese singers. At that time, kpop was not like it is now. The article of SNSD was really small and was put at the edge. It was like a supplimentary news in the asian section. I think it was in 2009. The picture was the picture of all nine member's end pose for genie. It was later in the same year that I discovered the mv of SNSD's "GEE" (It's appeared on the recommendation videos after I watched WG's Tell Me). Well, the MV's colourful and cute, not like what my country's singers' mv used to be so it's fascinating.
shaggylola: I know SNSD through my friend around end of 2010. My friend show me 'Star Golden Bell' - Tiffany cut. Thanks to him..since that she is one of my faves in SNSD til now.
jaximus2014: About 2 years ago I saw my sister watching a music video (I got a boy). I’ve never seen a music video like this before and I was surprised because there were so many girls. I asked my sister “What’s this?” and she said that this is a Kpop Girl group called Girls Generation. After watching I got a boy I started watching a lot of SNSD mvs, variety shows, and etc. I learned a lot about the whole group and now there my favorite girl group.
Shawoltaemint: I was first introduced to SNSD when I was searching for some kpop groups and I found their song Gee, I think it was late 2009, early 2010?
mitsuki963: I was not introduced to SNSD, I simply clicked on their 'The Boys' MV and started liking them. I believe that was some time 4 years ago.
Syltre: The first member that caught my eye was Sunny. When I watched their IGAB M/V I started clicking on other recent videos. Since Sunny's hair was short and she stood out, she got my attention. I mean no offense, but when I was a new sone they all kind of looked the same to me. Sunny was the only one i could tell apart at the time.
DaniMF: It's going to look incredible but it was Sunny. It was in the RDR MV.
lumina_louella: While watching the Genie MV, Sooyoung caught my attention first.
Tippany: Tiffany, it was her part when I first saw their music video, so that's why.
sandra311: It was not only one member which caught my eye. It was three members: Hyoyeon,Sunny and Sooyoung because I thought that they have very unique faces compared to the other members.
denise333: The first member that caught my attention was Seohyun in Gee, to me she looked beautiful.
49days: Yuri was the 1st member that caught my eyes and I confused her face with Seohyun's face. I think they really look alike especially in Gee.

BlackPearlLuver: Taeyeon. Basically, I didn't watch any of their MV's for a while and then randomly came across IGAB. I saw Taeyeon with her dip dyed hair and I thought she was GORGOEUS and had an amazing voice.
K-PopXD: YoonA and TaeYeon
pearlxashxdawn: Since it was in The Boys era, the first members that caught my eye were Jessica and Sunny. Sunny, because she had the short blonde hair wig and wore the smokey eye makeup in the mv which made her look really cool and sexy, and Jessica because of how she looked and how her unique voice sounded.
mnpl: It was Tiffany because she was the first member I saw xD
miauu: I think that the first member that caught my eye was Jessica, because when I was watching "Ideal Type World Cup" of Snsd, she had that bright hair color that stood out for me :p Or it could also be Sunny. I thought that she was so confident and had an interesting face (memorable, different, I don't know how to put it :) )

Jesmile: The member who first caught my eye was Yoona. As she was the face and on the spotlight, i came to know about her :-)
naoimings: Sunny, Jessica, Taeyeon, and Hyoyeon. they really cute and pretty to me.
leva0311: It's was Jessica actually, mostly because of her voice since it was different from others.
Nima9: I think the first one was Sunny and the reason would be her voice. I especially liked her parts in "Gee". Her voice is so cute and special.

Ryeona: Fany and Yuri. Fany's hair was so beautiful and her mannequin pose was kinda cute. Not to mention, she's the only short-haired member in the mv. Her parts is early too. Yuri, because I think she resembled Lee Dahae. I kept on looking at her for the rest of the video.
jaximus2014: Sooyoung! Because of her beautiful face and her hair is so cool and different from the other members. Or maybe because she’s the tallest xD

Syltre: Since I could first only tell apart Sunny from the rest she kind of became my bias. To me, first impressions are sort of what decides my biases. Since I could first only distinguish Sunny, she became the member I paid attention most to. After watching clips from their variety shows and other things, I found Sunny to be really funny, cute, and sweet. After that, she earned a permanent spot as my bias. ^^
DaniMF: My current bias is Sooyoung. I like her because of her caring but funny personality, her sweet voice and her charismatic stage presence that makes her impossible to ignore.

lumina_louella: MY ULTIMATE BIAS IS SEOHYUN. OMG. I don't even know how to start. I admire her the way she is. She's beautiful inside & out. She's headstrong & I love how she stands to what she believes while being humble & good natured at the same time. I feel like I've got a lot to learn from her. And yes, she's my first & only bias. :DD
Tippany: It's still Tiffany, I became attracted to her ever since the beginning and as I get to know more about her, I adore her even more.
sandra311: It's Dancing Queen Kim Hyoyeon <3 I love her personality and I'm addicted to her impressive dancing skills and her unique voice.There isn't a thing about her that I dislike, the same with the other members.
denise333: Haha if you all know, my bias is Taeyeon. Why is she my favorite? For many reasons, it is that kind of person that I admire, that love, that strength to carry on, always with a smile on her face, that girl who always thinks of others before her, that worried, shy, numb at times, teaser, humble woman who continues even with the difficult situation, I taste that beautiful voice she has, then a little more in depth knowledge, personality, her way of being with others, that love always shows the SONES makes me feel more admiration and respect for her, always makes me laugh all the time, so happy and so beautiful.
49days: My bias for 4 years now is Seohyun. I like her innocent image and her voice also good. I think as a maknae she is really caring and responsible especially towards her unnies.
snsd_hyo: Hyoyeon <33 because I keep discovering new things on her.
BlackPearlLuver: Yuri. I like her personality which is strange since most people don't. I also like how she is the most imperfect in snsd. She relates to me more than the other members. One big thing, is I love her voice. It's unique and soft and amazing.
K-PopXD: My current bias is all of my beautiful 9 angels.
pearlxashxdawn: My current bias from before, now, and forever is Jessica. I like how she's different from other idols, because she usually gives this first impression of being cold, but it turns out that she's just really shy, which is unusual for an idol. I feel like I can relate to her in that way, because we both get judged by our looks. And her voice just sounds like perfection, and although people find it nasally, I find it very pretty and angelic.
mnpl: My current bias is Yuri ^^. She is the most imperfect SNSD member for me, she doesn't have all that "perfect aura" around her, and I think that makes me feel closer to her. She's not the best at anything, she's getting worse at singing, but she will be my ultimate bias forever, I always feel happy when she does something good, and she's always the first member I check in all the rankings. Yuri just seems real: she is not perfect, but she's my bias, she's humanly perfect for me.
miauu: My bias has been Seohyun since the beginning. I like her because we have very similar personality traits. When I was younger, I used to be as shy as she was, so I know what she felt like.

Jesmile: My current bias is and will always Jessica unnie. I love her because she is beautiful, pretty and gorgeous. She has a charming and sweet voice too! But this are her qualities... what i mostly love about her is her personality. She is a gentle and warm person with a lots of humour. that is why i love you Sica unnie!<3
naoimings: Sooyoung, she is the most talented, she has an awesome personality, and I can relate to her, we are similar, Sooyoung is just pure awesomeness to me. She never fails to fails to impress me.
leva0311: My bias is Jessica ''The Ice Princess''. She was my bias since I started to like SNSD. I like her a lot because she's cute and funny. She has unique voice and honestly I love her voice most in SNSD. She's good dancer when she put much effort into it. She's caring and kind, even thought she mostly show her cold personality she actually is opposite to it. And mostly because I find myself bit similar to her, so I feel close to her.
Nima9: My current Bias is still Sunny. Although all the girls have their special place in my heart, I think I chose her mostly because of her cuteness and her personality.

siong97: Taeyeon. Because she is so cute and has a great voice. But I love all nine.
CutieBunny: Still Hyoyeon unnie. I rarely change my biases, I almost always stick to one person in a group. Her dancing is the best and I really love her variety skills and airport fashion.
zanhar1: It was always Jessica. I liked her because she was the one who kind of had me hooked on SNSD. There was just something about her that I liked. And she has a really cute voice. I also really like Yuri.
Ryeona: Ever since the day that I decided to be a SONE, my bias is always FANY! I like it that she always put on a smiley face. She never fails to brighten up my days. I also respected her in many ways such as her passion to be a singer during her trainee days and the fact that she is a very strong woman, judging from her childhood story. ^^
shaggylola: Tiffany. She is lively and very lovable person. She totally got my attention when she smiling especially with her beautiful eye smiles. How can I not love her? :)
jaximus2014: Jessica is my first bias and is still currently my bias. Why? Because whenever she sings it’s unique and amazing. Whenever I listen to a song I can recognize her voice the most. She’s got that straightforward and cold attitude which I find to be loving (I know I’m pretty weird). But sometimes she’s also very sweet and caring. I love it when she speaks English because it always surprises me since she has that Californian Girl accent. Her face changes a lot, for example sometimes she looks cute, sometimes she looks old, and sometimes she just looks absolutely GORJESS. The first time you see Jessica there will be a thick layer of ice covering her and you will probably judge her from what she looks like (maybe judge her for being lazy and cold). But if you wait long enough the ice will slowly melt away and then you’ll see who Jessica really is. Jessica has flaws but everybody has flaws and flaws in a way can be a good thing because it makes you stand out of the crowd, for example Jessica being the one and only Ice Princess. I will always love my Gorjess Ice Princess.
Shawoltaemint: My current bias is Jessica because of her cool personality, her caring attitude towards fellow members and Krystal and of course because of her amazing voice <3 she was also my first bias for pretty much the same reason.
mitsuki963: My current bias is Taeyeon because of her personality, her voice, her looks, and basically everything about her.
DaniMF: Maybe Sunny or Hyoyeon? I started in RDR and I just watched it because I couldn't difference them in others MVs like Hoot or Gee. They weren't really my bias, it was just that I was attracted by their looks.
kpop4everlover: My first bias was Yoona , then Taeyeon and now Yuri. Yes , most people probably didn't know that I had two biases before Yuri. It was sooo hard to choose a bias out of 9 angels.
sandra311: It was tied between Hyoyeon,Sooyoung,Sunny and Taeyeon but my bias became Hyoyeon.
denise333: Jessica, although I don't love her as much or as more than before, I like her voice, she's very talented, her personality is unique and sincere, she's so cute and sweet, and for me it is not cold as everyone says.
snsd_hyo: Taeyeon, she just captured me by her cute actions.
BlackPearlLuver: YoonTae. Stupid I know??? The reason I liked them first was because they looked pretty. Those were the people I found the prettiest so I put them as my my bias without knowing anything about them. When I got more into snsd, Yuri was automatically my bias.
K-PopXD: My 1st bias was YoonA. (Side note: She didn't explain why, so if you'd like to know, ask her!)

lumina_louella: There's a lot! >.< but Run Devil Run for me. I love everything about the song. The concept, the addictive tune that makes me want to sing along to it & the dark aura that exudes sexiness & charisma. Plus they all look so gorgeous :D
snsd_hyo: I will go with Time Machine... I practically love that song very much, I love the lyrics and the rhythm. I also like the mv and the storyline very much... I even made an article about it: link
DaniMF: My favourite song is Run Devil Run. It was the first song I heard and it's really catchy. The line distribution is great, everybody has a place in the song. It was their first sexy concept after that many cutesy and lovely songs. They showed they could be sexy, and that they could be cool.
sandra311: It's really hard because I have alot of favourite songs from Snsd but I would say "The Boys" or "Genie" because I really like these songs. They are catchy and the concept were really good.
Tippany: My most favorite would be Mr. Taxi, it kind of unique. The music video, the outfits are refreshing and the song is just simply really catchy especially the Japanese version one.
K-PopXD: Ok my favorite SNSD song is Beep Beep or IGAB because the songs been stuck in my mind and I can't stop thinking about the songs so I listen to it everyday.
kpop4everlover: My favourite song from them has to be Etude. It's not like it's a big hit like Gee or I Got A Boy but it gives off a happy feeling and I feel relaxed and calm every time I listen to it.
BlackPearlLuver: Genie. It's my favourite song because everybody had fair parts and screen time. Plus, this was the song that made me a SONE. I heard other songs first but when I heard Genie, I knew I needed to know more about them and I instantly became a fan. Plus, it was then when I decided Yuri was my bias. So basically, it was the song that made me a SONE and I decided my bias form that song!
49days: The song that I really like is Hoot. I like their choreography and outfits too. That song is really nice, best and all member looks really pretty in the MV and also in their performances.
Syltre: My favorite song from SNSD is Promise. It's a really sweet song and it feels like it is a message to the SONEs out there. The lyrics really suit SNSD.
mnpl: My favourite SNSD song is Genie.
miauu: My favorite snsd song is All My Love is For You. It is such a sweet, calming ballad. I like how all of the members sound in this song. I like the mv too. Their clothes and hairstyles are very stylish. Also the part with the dresses is awesome, but mv probably has a different story :p

leva0311: ''All My Love Is For You'' this is actually one of my few favs songs. I like it since it shows members sweet and kind side. Also it shows singing abilities of members. This song gives me a lot of emotions and I feel good listening to it.

shaggylola: Genie (remixed include the rap version by Tiffany) but now my fav song is 'Indestructible'
Ryeona: Tears. First of all, it's a ballad song, which is my favourite genre. Next, i think that it's very soulful- i can get through them, without knowing the real meaning of the song at first.
jaximus2014: Genie (K-version or J-version) because the song is really catching and everyone knows it was all about the legs in that mv LOL. They keep asking what is my wish and I keep saying that my wish is that I want to be with you xD

Syltre: Something really important is that they never fail to catch my eye. Their sense of humor also plays a huge part. I stay as a fan of SNSD because they are a group of dorky, lovable, insanely hilarious girls. Their new concepts never fail to catch my attention. Their different personalities and surprises add to the cherry on top. I think a main reason why is because kpop fans are a group of very loyal people. For example, I live in America, and I like American artists such as Adele and groups such as One Republic. I have known these artists much longer than I have known SNSD. But I am MUCH more loyal to SNSD than other artists. I don't know why or the logic behind this but kpop fans (for the most part) are a group of loyal, loving, protective, and passionate fans about their kpop idols.
DaniMF: I don't really know. I like their music and most of their members I guess.
kpop4everlover: I'm not sure why, but they just have that special "something" that caught my attention and eye. Their teamwork is amazing, personalities as well.
lumina_louella: It's because of their music, I know it's an unpopular opinion but I love their music. I always look forward on what they'll show on their comeback. I love how they grow with their music & I love how they maintain their balance as compared to other girl groups & maybe because of Seohyun too. Hehe. I think I adapted her beliefs ;D
Tippany: I really like their music, their style is different from what we often see nowadays. And after keep watching them from many shows, I got addicted to them. They all have great personalities and are talented in different ways also of course are really pretty. Seeing how amazing they all are, I want to stay as a fan.
sandra311: Their dorky but lovely personalitys, they always try to give their best in every way, their dancing and singing skills.They never tried to be a person who they aren't,they always be themself.They give me a feeling that they are girls like you and me.Also that they achieved their dreams and that gives me a kind of hope that when I believe and give always my best that everything is possible. Also they strong bond between them and Sones. Once a Sone, forever a Sone!
denise333: First, I love these girls so much, for their personalities, their talent, the much love they give to SONES, at every concert, they give themselves completely, to make us happy, always smiling for the more tired you are, I love them so much, my beautiful girls.
49days: I like their songs, dances and also, the most important thing is their relationship towards each member. All of them look like a real family and they care very much about each other.
snsd_hyo: Because their songs are the best and also with this fanclub, where all the fans are very nice.
BlackPearlLuver: I like the music they have. I agree it has worsened over the past year or so, but I still like it. Plus, I Iike the bond they have. They are true sisters. I also like that they keep trying for us. I know some of them look like they want to quit, but they still put effort into the performances I feel like.
K-PopXD: Snsd songs are unforgettable and snsd members work together as a beautiful k-pop girl group.
mnpl: SNSD is a very hardworking group. Before Gee they didn't have much fame, even if their songs were pretty good. And SM isn't a friendly company too, some of their artists already leave because of how that company treats them. They also have loads of Antis. But they just still there, with good songs, awesome performances, and with a strong and powerful group, I am really proud of them!
miauu: I just continue to love these girls, I am still looking up to their standard of look either. I know that I can always expect a good piece of music from them.

Jesmile: Well, i am a new fan of snsd. I only came to know about two months ago... but within thetheseo months,i feel like i know a lot about them and they are known to me. Like dear ones. The reason to be a Sone is to support them and stand by them when they are down...or in bad times. To love them for who they are and their music. Proud to be a sone<3 Always will be a Sone.
naoimings: They all have awesome personalities that i love and their music is awesome.
leva0311: I stay SNSD fan because I like they songs. I'm being fan of them for about 2 years so I guess it's too hard to leave fandom XD, I'm going to be dragged again here since my sister listen to them a lot XD. I like how each member are different and it's good to see every of them being so close.
Nima9: I think it would be their music genre, their team work and hard work and their love towards fans that makes me love them more.
Aya_tz: I don't really know, I just like them, so I stay their fan.
GDragon612: of SNSD's songs, their dancing skills, their cuteness, and the funny things they do together.

zanhar1: I’m still a fan today because they still make good music. And once I’m a fan of something, the said thing has to go really downhill for me to stop liking it.

Ryeona: Unlike other groups, SNSD are very good at taking care of themselves. They dont have much controversy like other girls groups. And for me, they are one of the kpop group that i can label as not so sexy. In other words, their clothes and sorts are age-appropriate. They dont wear sexy clothes until recently. (it's still not that sexy, though). they are also very open and real.Or what I say as, dorky.
jaximus2014: I think being a sone is very fun. SNSD has a lot of amazing MVs and they’re involved with a lot of variety shows, reality shows, and etc. There are so many memories to laugh about and enjoy. I love watching all those memories again and again.
Shawoltaemint: I fell in love with them for their catchy songs and their funny personalities and that hasn't changed so I guess that's what keeps me as a fan :D
mitsuki963: I stay as an SNSD fan still to this day is because I have no reason to leave the fandom and the more I know about them the more interesting they are. They are all very kind and have warm hearts. I also love their songs.

The Day When It All Started.
So, I had planned this for almost a month now, and now I can finally post my articles! I've been waiting and waiting for the chance to finally post it, because it was firstly, it was my first and biggest idea to do these interviews with the fans (which I never thought about doing), and it had such a bigger response than I thought it would, so it was killing me waiting for this day! So, now that we got that out of the way...

In honor of SNSD's 7th Anniversary, I asked some fans a few questions about their experiences with GG, and here's what they had to say!

Syltre: This might sound silly but I was first introduced to SNSD by a video called "YouTubers React to K-pop" by the Fine brothers. From this video, I went to watch SNSD's IGAB and I immediately fell in love with SNSD. This all happened in November of 2013. I know this because I knew SNSD about a week or two before SNSD won the YouTube music awards.
DaniMF: I was introduced last summer by a friend.
kpop4everlover: Well, when I was younger, my sister and I used to sing and dance to Gee but in 2012 when I was a bit older, I got introduced to k-pop by one of my cousins. Soon after that, I found out about SNSD and joined fanpop in late 2013!
lumina_louella: I think it was 2009(?) during the Genie era. I accidentally watch their MV through a local music channel.
Tippany: It was back in early 2010, basically when I was just flipping through the channels I saw SNSD's 'Oh!' music video on Mnet America.
sandra311: It was in the year 2009. I was watching a Mv from BoA (my first Kpop Artist) and I wanted to know more of other Kpop Artists, so I searched in Youtube "Kpop" and at that time Snsd's "Gee" was the first search result. So I watched the Mv and I was impressed by their dancing and singing skills and ofc their looks.So after this Mv, I became a Sone <3
denise333: From the knowledge right through Yoona with Cinderella Man. I love this drama, I think I liked Yoona but for her beauty (as surface Lol) then found out more about her, and I found a song called Hoot I really liked, especially the dance with the bows, then I decided to find out more about them, and I found I also like Gee, the song was very catchy and they were so nice.
49days: I'm start know SNSD through Gee's mv. I also knew about them from my friend that really likes kpop.
snsd_hyo: Their hit song which is Gee... Since that, i watch that mv almost everyday ^^
BlackPearlLuver: I was introduced to them through a Youtuber named Michelle Phan. She had Mr Taxi in one of the videos and The boys so I checked it out last year.
K-PopXD: My friend introduced me to snsd in 2007.
pearlxashxdawn: I knew SNSD when I was 10~11 years old. My two friends are major SONES so I felt like I'm left out. I wanna know what they're talking about. They showed me 2 MVs of SNSD. I was surprised, there were so many of them; I thought they were all pretty and sexy.
mnpl: It was on 2012, SNSD was my first k-pop group. I was just seeing "Youtube's top 100" and Tiffany's Twinkle teaser was on 6th, I guess I thought something like "Oh, a cute girl, what is this?" and then I saw the video and start to feel interested about that girl and then about all the girls <3
miauu: In October 2012, I saw a video from Shinee's concert where they were singing "Stand By Me" - my favorite song from drama "Boys Over Flowers." That concert was held in NY. Then I paid attention to other recommended videos. I was surprised to see a girl group with a lot of girls, besides they all had white clothes and the name 'SNSD' captured my attention. I looked this concert's video up and I fell in love... <3

Jesmile: I came to know about snsd through a friend. She introduced me to snsd as "The Band of the Generation" XD and made me listen to their song. This is how i was first introduced with/to Girls' Generation^^
naoimings: In summer 2013, I was on YouTube and I kept on hearing about kpop and how everyone is obsessed, so I looked for it on YouTube, I found SNSD's Gee, and I got addicted.
leva0311: I think it was 2 years ago when I started to listen KPOP. My friend here in Fanpop showed me some songs and I started to like them.
Nima9: Basically one of my friends introduced me to Kpop. She showed me lots of kpop MVs and one of them was "Genie".
Actually, at first they didn't catch my eye because of that MV. I didn't see something special in it and they became an ordinary group for me. (I still really don't like the Genie MV, but the song is perfect)
But after I fell in love with Kpop (actually after all of my friend's attempts), I searched a lot about Kpop bands so I noticed that SNSD is a very popular group around the world, then I began to search more about them. and inside of my searches I found "Gee" and this song made its way into my favorites list.
But I became a fan after I listened to "Oh". I think it was around 2012.
Aya_tz: Well, I watched TheFineBros' "Kids React to Kpop" reactions, and I thought WTC (what the cookie) is that. But then, I started to watch YouTube 100, and SNSD were 2nd with IGAB, It was on January 7th, 2013.

CutieBunny: I heard SHINee's Ring Ding Dong on TV and in our country Korean songs aren't really famous so I wanted to listen to it again. Once I got addicted to SHINee I wanted to know more about them and I checked their Wikipedia. Because they were from SM I wanted to check out other artists from the same agency and landed on SNSD. this was in 2009.
zanhar1: I was on YouTube and I was watching Kara’s Lupin. SNSD’s Gee was under related videos so I clicked it.
Ryeona: This is quite a hard question. haha! I remember cutting out a picture of snsd from the newspaper without knowing who they were just because they seemed cool. I thought they were Japanese singers. At that time, kpop was not like it is now. The article of SNSD was really small and was put at the edge. It was like a supplimentary news in the asian section. I think it was in 2009. The picture was the picture of all nine member's end pose for genie. It was later in the same year that I discovered the mv of SNSD's "GEE" (It's appeared on the recommendation videos after I watched WG's Tell Me). Well, the MV's colourful and cute, not like what my country's singers' mv used to be so it's fascinating.
shaggylola: I know SNSD through my friend around end of 2010. My friend show me 'Star Golden Bell' - Tiffany cut. Thanks to him..since that she is one of my faves in SNSD til now.
jaximus2014: About 2 years ago I saw my sister watching a music video (I got a boy). I’ve never seen a music video like this before and I was surprised because there were so many girls. I asked my sister “What’s this?” and she said that this is a Kpop Girl group called Girls Generation. After watching I got a boy I started watching a lot of SNSD mvs, variety shows, and etc. I learned a lot about the whole group and now there my favorite girl group.
Shawoltaemint: I was first introduced to SNSD when I was searching for some kpop groups and I found their song Gee, I think it was late 2009, early 2010?
mitsuki963: I was not introduced to SNSD, I simply clicked on their 'The Boys' MV and started liking them. I believe that was some time 4 years ago.
Syltre: The first member that caught my eye was Sunny. When I watched their IGAB M/V I started clicking on other recent videos. Since Sunny's hair was short and she stood out, she got my attention. I mean no offense, but when I was a new sone they all kind of looked the same to me. Sunny was the only one i could tell apart at the time.
DaniMF: It's going to look incredible but it was Sunny. It was in the RDR MV.
lumina_louella: While watching the Genie MV, Sooyoung caught my attention first.
Tippany: Tiffany, it was her part when I first saw their music video, so that's why.
sandra311: It was not only one member which caught my eye. It was three members: Hyoyeon,Sunny and Sooyoung because I thought that they have very unique faces compared to the other members.
denise333: The first member that caught my attention was Seohyun in Gee, to me she looked beautiful.
49days: Yuri was the 1st member that caught my eyes and I confused her face with Seohyun's face. I think they really look alike especially in Gee.

BlackPearlLuver: Taeyeon. Basically, I didn't watch any of their MV's for a while and then randomly came across IGAB. I saw Taeyeon with her dip dyed hair and I thought she was GORGOEUS and had an amazing voice.

pearlxashxdawn: Since it was in The Boys era, the first members that caught my eye were Jessica and Sunny. Sunny, because she had the short blonde hair wig and wore the smokey eye makeup in the mv which made her look really cool and sexy, and Jessica because of how she looked and how her unique voice sounded.
mnpl: It was Tiffany because she was the first member I saw xD
miauu: I think that the first member that caught my eye was Jessica, because when I was watching "Ideal Type World Cup" of Snsd, she had that bright hair color that stood out for me :p Or it could also be Sunny. I thought that she was so confident and had an interesting face (memorable, different, I don't know how to put it :) )

jaximus2014: Sooyoung! Because of her beautiful face and her hair is so cool and different from the other members. Or maybe because she’s the tallest xD

Syltre: Since I could first only tell apart Sunny from the rest she kind of became my bias. To me, first impressions are sort of what decides my biases. Since I could first only distinguish Sunny, she became the member I paid attention most to. After watching clips from their variety shows and other things, I found Sunny to be really funny, cute, and sweet. After that, she earned a permanent spot as my bias. ^^
DaniMF: My current bias is Sooyoung. I like her because of her caring but funny personality, her sweet voice and her charismatic stage presence that makes her impossible to ignore.

lumina_louella: MY ULTIMATE BIAS IS SEOHYUN. OMG. I don't even know how to start. I admire her the way she is. She's beautiful inside & out. She's headstrong & I love how she stands to what she believes while being humble & good natured at the same time. I feel like I've got a lot to learn from her. And yes, she's my first & only bias. :DD
Tippany: It's still Tiffany, I became attracted to her ever since the beginning and as I get to know more about her, I adore her even more.
sandra311: It's Dancing Queen Kim Hyoyeon <3 I love her personality and I'm addicted to her impressive dancing skills and her unique voice.There isn't a thing about her that I dislike, the same with the other members.
denise333: Haha if you all know, my bias is Taeyeon. Why is she my favorite? For many reasons, it is that kind of person that I admire, that love, that strength to carry on, always with a smile on her face, that girl who always thinks of others before her, that worried, shy, numb at times, teaser, humble woman who continues even with the difficult situation, I taste that beautiful voice she has, then a little more in depth knowledge, personality, her way of being with others, that love always shows the SONES makes me feel more admiration and respect for her, always makes me laugh all the time, so happy and so beautiful.
49days: My bias for 4 years now is Seohyun. I like her innocent image and her voice also good. I think as a maknae she is really caring and responsible especially towards her unnies.
snsd_hyo: Hyoyeon <33 because I keep discovering new things on her.
BlackPearlLuver: Yuri. I like her personality which is strange since most people don't. I also like how she is the most imperfect in snsd. She relates to me more than the other members. One big thing, is I love her voice. It's unique and soft and amazing.
K-PopXD: My current bias is all of my beautiful 9 angels.
pearlxashxdawn: My current bias from before, now, and forever is Jessica. I like how she's different from other idols, because she usually gives this first impression of being cold, but it turns out that she's just really shy, which is unusual for an idol. I feel like I can relate to her in that way, because we both get judged by our looks. And her voice just sounds like perfection, and although people find it nasally, I find it very pretty and angelic.
mnpl: My current bias is Yuri ^^. She is the most imperfect SNSD member for me, she doesn't have all that "perfect aura" around her, and I think that makes me feel closer to her. She's not the best at anything, she's getting worse at singing, but she will be my ultimate bias forever, I always feel happy when she does something good, and she's always the first member I check in all the rankings. Yuri just seems real: she is not perfect, but she's my bias, she's humanly perfect for me.
miauu: My bias has been Seohyun since the beginning. I like her because we have very similar personality traits. When I was younger, I used to be as shy as she was, so I know what she felt like.

Jesmile: My current bias is and will always Jessica unnie. I love her because she is beautiful, pretty and gorgeous. She has a charming and sweet voice too! But this are her qualities... what i mostly love about her is her personality. She is a gentle and warm person with a lots of humour. that is why i love you Sica unnie!<3
naoimings: Sooyoung, she is the most talented, she has an awesome personality, and I can relate to her, we are similar, Sooyoung is just pure awesomeness to me. She never fails to fails to impress me.
leva0311: My bias is Jessica ''The Ice Princess''. She was my bias since I started to like SNSD. I like her a lot because she's cute and funny. She has unique voice and honestly I love her voice most in SNSD. She's good dancer when she put much effort into it. She's caring and kind, even thought she mostly show her cold personality she actually is opposite to it. And mostly because I find myself bit similar to her, so I feel close to her.
Nima9: My current Bias is still Sunny. Although all the girls have their special place in my heart, I think I chose her mostly because of her cuteness and her personality.

zanhar1: It was always Jessica. I liked her because she was the one who kind of had me hooked on SNSD. There was just something about her that I liked. And she has a really cute voice. I also really like Yuri.
Ryeona: Ever since the day that I decided to be a SONE, my bias is always FANY! I like it that she always put on a smiley face. She never fails to brighten up my days. I also respected her in many ways such as her passion to be a singer during her trainee days and the fact that she is a very strong woman, judging from her childhood story. ^^
shaggylola: Tiffany. She is lively and very lovable person. She totally got my attention when she smiling especially with her beautiful eye smiles. How can I not love her? :)
jaximus2014: Jessica is my first bias and is still currently my bias. Why? Because whenever she sings it’s unique and amazing. Whenever I listen to a song I can recognize her voice the most. She’s got that straightforward and cold attitude which I find to be loving (I know I’m pretty weird). But sometimes she’s also very sweet and caring. I love it when she speaks English because it always surprises me since she has that Californian Girl accent. Her face changes a lot, for example sometimes she looks cute, sometimes she looks old, and sometimes she just looks absolutely GORJESS. The first time you see Jessica there will be a thick layer of ice covering her and you will probably judge her from what she looks like (maybe judge her for being lazy and cold). But if you wait long enough the ice will slowly melt away and then you’ll see who Jessica really is. Jessica has flaws but everybody has flaws and flaws in a way can be a good thing because it makes you stand out of the crowd, for example Jessica being the one and only Ice Princess. I will always love my Gorjess Ice Princess.
Shawoltaemint: My current bias is Jessica because of her cool personality, her caring attitude towards fellow members and Krystal and of course because of her amazing voice <3 she was also my first bias for pretty much the same reason.
mitsuki963: My current bias is Taeyeon because of her personality, her voice, her looks, and basically everything about her.
DaniMF: Maybe Sunny or Hyoyeon? I started in RDR and I just watched it because I couldn't difference them in others MVs like Hoot or Gee. They weren't really my bias, it was just that I was attracted by their looks.
kpop4everlover: My first bias was Yoona , then Taeyeon and now Yuri. Yes , most people probably didn't know that I had two biases before Yuri. It was sooo hard to choose a bias out of 9 angels.
sandra311: It was tied between Hyoyeon,Sooyoung,Sunny and Taeyeon but my bias became Hyoyeon.
denise333: Jessica, although I don't love her as much or as more than before, I like her voice, she's very talented, her personality is unique and sincere, she's so cute and sweet, and for me it is not cold as everyone says.

BlackPearlLuver: YoonTae. Stupid I know??? The reason I liked them first was because they looked pretty. Those were the people I found the prettiest so I put them as my my bias without knowing anything about them. When I got more into snsd, Yuri was automatically my bias.

DaniMF: My favourite song is Run Devil Run. It was the first song I heard and it's really catchy. The line distribution is great, everybody has a place in the song. It was their first sexy concept after that many cutesy and lovely songs. They showed they could be sexy, and that they could be cool.
sandra311: It's really hard because I have alot of favourite songs from Snsd but I would say "The Boys" or "Genie" because I really like these songs. They are catchy and the concept were really good.
Tippany: My most favorite would be Mr. Taxi, it kind of unique. The music video, the outfits are refreshing and the song is just simply really catchy especially the Japanese version one.
K-PopXD: Ok my favorite SNSD song is Beep Beep or IGAB because the songs been stuck in my mind and I can't stop thinking about the songs so I listen to it everyday.
kpop4everlover: My favourite song from them has to be Etude. It's not like it's a big hit like Gee or I Got A Boy but it gives off a happy feeling and I feel relaxed and calm every time I listen to it.
BlackPearlLuver: Genie. It's my favourite song because everybody had fair parts and screen time. Plus, this was the song that made me a SONE. I heard other songs first but when I heard Genie, I knew I needed to know more about them and I instantly became a fan. Plus, it was then when I decided Yuri was my bias. So basically, it was the song that made me a SONE and I decided my bias form that song!
49days: The song that I really like is Hoot. I like their choreography and outfits too. That song is really nice, best and all member looks really pretty in the MV and also in their performances.
Syltre: My favorite song from SNSD is Promise. It's a really sweet song and it feels like it is a message to the SONEs out there. The lyrics really suit SNSD.
mnpl: My favourite SNSD song is Genie.
miauu: My favorite snsd song is All My Love is For You. It is such a sweet, calming ballad. I like how all of the members sound in this song. I like the mv too. Their clothes and hairstyles are very stylish. Also the part with the dresses is awesome, but mv probably has a different story :p

Ryeona: Tears. First of all, it's a ballad song, which is my favourite genre. Next, i think that it's very soulful- i can get through them, without knowing the real meaning of the song at first.
jaximus2014: Genie (K-version or J-version) because the song is really catching and everyone knows it was all about the legs in that mv LOL. They keep asking what is my wish and I keep saying that my wish is that I want to be with you xD

Syltre: Something really important is that they never fail to catch my eye. Their sense of humor also plays a huge part. I stay as a fan of SNSD because they are a group of dorky, lovable, insanely hilarious girls. Their new concepts never fail to catch my attention. Their different personalities and surprises add to the cherry on top. I think a main reason why is because kpop fans are a group of very loyal people. For example, I live in America, and I like American artists such as Adele and groups such as One Republic. I have known these artists much longer than I have known SNSD. But I am MUCH more loyal to SNSD than other artists. I don't know why or the logic behind this but kpop fans (for the most part) are a group of loyal, loving, protective, and passionate fans about their kpop idols.
DaniMF: I don't really know. I like their music and most of their members I guess.
kpop4everlover: I'm not sure why, but they just have that special "something" that caught my attention and eye. Their teamwork is amazing, personalities as well.
lumina_louella: It's because of their music, I know it's an unpopular opinion but I love their music. I always look forward on what they'll show on their comeback. I love how they grow with their music & I love how they maintain their balance as compared to other girl groups & maybe because of Seohyun too. Hehe. I think I adapted her beliefs ;D
Tippany: I really like their music, their style is different from what we often see nowadays. And after keep watching them from many shows, I got addicted to them. They all have great personalities and are talented in different ways also of course are really pretty. Seeing how amazing they all are, I want to stay as a fan.
sandra311: Their dorky but lovely personalitys, they always try to give their best in every way, their dancing and singing skills.They never tried to be a person who they aren't,they always be themself.They give me a feeling that they are girls like you and me.Also that they achieved their dreams and that gives me a kind of hope that when I believe and give always my best that everything is possible. Also they strong bond between them and Sones. Once a Sone, forever a Sone!
denise333: First, I love these girls so much, for their personalities, their talent, the much love they give to SONES, at every concert, they give themselves completely, to make us happy, always smiling for the more tired you are, I love them so much, my beautiful girls.
49days: I like their songs, dances and also, the most important thing is their relationship towards each member. All of them look like a real family and they care very much about each other.
snsd_hyo: Because their songs are the best and also with this fanclub, where all the fans are very nice.
BlackPearlLuver: I like the music they have. I agree it has worsened over the past year or so, but I still like it. Plus, I Iike the bond they have. They are true sisters. I also like that they keep trying for us. I know some of them look like they want to quit, but they still put effort into the performances I feel like.
K-PopXD: Snsd songs are unforgettable and snsd members work together as a beautiful k-pop girl group.
mnpl: SNSD is a very hardworking group. Before Gee they didn't have much fame, even if their songs were pretty good. And SM isn't a friendly company too, some of their artists already leave because of how that company treats them. They also have loads of Antis. Ryeona: Unlike other groups, SNSD are very good at taking care of themselves. They dont have much controversy like other girls groups. And for me, they are one of the kpop group that i can label as not so sexy. In other words, their clothes and sorts are age-appropriate. They dont wear sexy clothes until recently. (it's still not that sexy, though). they are also very open and real.Or what I say as, dorky.
jaximus2014: I think being a sone is very fun. SNSD has a lot of amazing MVs and they’re involved with a lot of variety shows, reality shows, and etc. There are so many memories to laugh about and enjoy. I love watching all those memories again and again.
Shawoltaemint: I fell in love with them for their catchy songs and their funny personalities and that hasn't changed so I guess that's what keeps me as a fan :D
