Frozen Question

Do you think Elsa and Anna are respectful towards one another?

In The movie Frozen Elsa shuts Anna out because shes afraid she'll strike Anna with her powers again. Anna doesn't understand shes confused. Once the girls get older Anna soon discovers Elsa's icy magic after Elsa accidentially lets out a blast of her magic! oops!
Do you think Elsa and Anna are respectful towards one another?

Of course, once they're sure they're safe to be around for the other- remember, Elsa's terrified that her "gifts" will do Anna harm- that's why she undergoes such a degree of "treatments" such as the gloves... she's desperate to master this ability that caused Anna to almost *DIE*; that's what freaked Elsa out and gave her effectively PTSD. That's what's going on in the story: the older girl has PTSD, and the younger one hasn't a clue what that's about!
Respect isn't out of the picture, it's there, but it's not a major ingredient, because the theme is about keeping your neighbor safe from you harming them till you're sure you *won't* harm them.
