I've seen some of castle and think it's good (though mainly because Nathan Fillion is so great) but I just love Dollhouse. It's my new favourite show

OKOK totally NOT fair! I think Castle has a stronger female lead, but Dollhouse is a better show...so yeah. I totally <3 Nathan Fillion!

I'm ashamed to say I haven't been keeping up with Dollhouse. And I think it's true that Kate is a far stronger female lead. So that's where my answer has to go, it seems.

You know, in a way I think Echo is stronger. I know that seems weird to say with the whole mindwiping thing, but Echo has much more to overcome than Kate. She's in a far more vulnerable position and is having to go through a lot to fight for independance and freedom. She's on a more dangerous journey that takes more bravery and inner stregnth. Of course I may be having my judgement clouded by the kickass fight scene in last weeks episode.

Like Cinders, I have not been keeping up on my Dollhouse watching. So far I've only seen the 1st, 2nd, and 5th episode of the show :) By what I've seen of it I think Echo is pretty cool, but Beckett has an awesome attitude with a strong leader personality.

I just have to say as well, anyone whose only been paying mild attention to Dollhouse really should see episode 6 before making up their mind, it's by far the best. I personally have liked it all, but everyone I know who wasn't won over had their minds changed by epsidode 6. It's called 'man on the street' and I think it was such a strong episode, its the first time I've liked Dollhouse more than Buffy.

I agree with Mermaid-Tail- I think Echo has more to overcome than Kate Beckett and she's displayed an inner strength that is frankly amazing considering her circumstances. And of course there's Epitaph One to pretty much prove how smart/kickass she is.

I also agree that Man on the Street is when the show really hits it's stride and takes off.
