Ugh it's so annoying when you click a tag for a certain TV character, for example, but you end up getting a bunch of other characters because they used like a billion tags to cover all the characters. That is not the point of keywords, people!

Well, neither is ideal because it's really easy to keyword properly by putting generic tags at first, then go edit the images individually so that their tags are relevant.

Still, I think it's more annoying to see an image with keywords that have nothing to do with it than to notice some keywords missing, because if you still have to sift through a bajillion images what's the point of keywords anyway?

My pet hate is people you upload like 10 icons and in each icon there is only one character but they bulk upload and put every single character's name in the keywords. Absolutely useless. And when you point it out, they say "well I post them all at once so I can't be specific with the keywords." That statement makes me want to punch people.

So generic is better than every single word in the world, but I always appreciate (and therefore rate higher) smart uploading and keywording. People just need to think a little before posting. Of course if all you care about is posting content as fast as possible to get medals as fast as possible, keywording doesn't seem that important.

Oh, and the word "various" IS NOT A KEYWORD! *brain explodes*

I completely agree that it is seriously annoying when a tag (done as part of a mass image upload) has nothing to do with the actual image posted.
I also agree with Asvini, it really doesn't take that much effort to go back through the images you've added and edit the key words so that they are relevant.
Plus if you put relevant and thorough key words fanpoppers. (or decent poppers anyway) are more likely to rate your image higher!

I hate searching and getting results that don't have anything to do with what I'm looking for.
I can't add more than 5 images at a time, and I still go back to edit the titles, descriptions, and keywords. Also, if I can think of additional or better keywords later, I'll try to remember to edit for that reason too. Even if my computer allowed me to add more at once, it just seems like common courtesy, and the searches shouldn't take fans to anything irrelevant. ;)

At least this way, the images will still appear when someone searches a specific keyword. I think it's more annoying for an image not to come in a search than for some irrelevant ones to appear too.

Of course, I'd prefer if they went back and edited out the irrelevant keywords for each image ;)
