My icon is (current) a Bangel icon I made from the episode Amends, while my motto is a quote from Mordant's Need.

I've had the same motto for probably 5 or 6 years.

Icon: Naruto
Motto: Kingdom Hearts

Not intentionally, anyway. Although my motto does kind of suit my current icon in its own way, I suppose.

my icon is... really, really old and needs to be updated JEEZ! I didn't even think about it until this question. It's a screenshot of my character from pokemon.com or whatever. My motto is pretty new; it's a lyric I put up for the new year from a song called, fittingly, The New Year

My icon used to be Bellatrix and my motto is a quote from her. Occasionally I use my Bella icons but lately it's been Azula. I guess I could see Azula saying something like what Bellatrix did though.

My current is Ashley Benson/Hanna from PLL and my motto is a line from the song "Big Yellow Taxi". I'm pretty sure they aren't connected in any way.

Well, I changed my icon and my motto since I posted that last comment.

I've been changing my icon a lot lately because a while back I got a load of new ones that I'm just gradually uploading to my gallery, so that I can use them whenever. My motto has been the same for a few months now and I really like it. I can see myself keeping it like that for a long time. I do actually have an icon of the character that said my motto, it's just not the icon I'm using right now.

Maybe I'll go back to that icon at a later date.

Well it used to be an icon of Cullen with his quote "If you squint, Lake Calenhad is shaped like a bunny".

At first I used quotes from whatever fandom I was currently using as my icon/banner/profile background. But then I had a theme where I couldn't find a quote I liked to use, and I stopped having a motto since.
