Yeah....think if your gonna take the time to create a spot then you should have it looking good.

Plus i can do it for them i don't really mind. just send them a message to put it up and link it to photobucket or something.

These are awesome images with this pick! I want to use that "I just don't care" image to represent me. Because I'm like a little happy girl. Who doesn't have a care in the world. Or something. =P

Yes, if you're going to make a spot, put the effort into actually making the spot, not just clicking a few things and naming it. I always try and add videos and picks as well, but I couldn't make a spot and not do a banner or logo, it looks untidy otherwise.

Alexmcneice, you are my hero for making this pick. I had mentioned that before but the people that were doing it always had excuses so whatever. It doesn't bother me more than when they create a spot and abandon it forever, yet they manage to create 10 more spots that they abandon as well.

Why all the hate, dudes?

I don't like it if they don't put a picture on, but I understand if they don't put a banner on. It's just so hard (that's what she said) because when I try to make a banner it's always blurey, or not sized properly, or not what I want. I try picture after picture but it doesn't work. I think we have to find a better way to put on the banners.

i hated when i saw the three days grace spot. it is really lazy and i always put a lot of effort into the spots i make

Yeah it is bothersome- but hey question everyone: I tried to make a spot, but all I can get on there is the picture, and not the banner- how do I get a banner up there?

if some1 needs help for banner i can do it for them... just leave me a message and let me know what they wanna do.. i'll try to make it nice no blurring.
i dont think just to put the picture or banner is enough to create a spot, you need to do a little more efforts in putting videos pictures and picks. i guess they should make a minimum videos, pictures policy for creating any spots...

i think if you want to make a spot put a little bit of effort into it, it' be nice :)

I find the best way if you struggle for a banner is to find a wallpaper of the thing you're making a spot of, copy and paste it into paint or your own choice of image edit programme, then just cut out an 800x100 part out of the wallpaper that looks good as a banner. If you can't be bothered doing that, I'll sort a banner of some kind if people ask, I'd rather do the extra effort instead of having a blank looking spot.

I dunno, I got 0 image skills, so I understand if people give up. We all got diffrent things to contribute.

I hate when there are no pics or banners. I sometimes wish I could add them, but I live with it...

if you`re gonna make a spot for something, at least care for it enough to look good geez

I'd rather have pictures, so I think if you add something you should make it look pretty, but it won't kill me if someone doesn't.

hello everybody. i know this is the wrong place to ask, but does anyone KNOW how to make a spot? if you could give me some very precise instructions i would be very thankful. i want to make a spot for Sunset Walk, the series I am creating, so i can talk about the episodes/characters/music for the show, and hopefully gain some support. if you could leave me a message, or just respond here, that would be great. thanks :)

some of the spots im making now doesnt hv pics BECAUSE something is wrong with the main servers of fanpop but as soon as its fixed i will put on the pics! oh pls hurry!

It's actually hard to say,I mean I would really like if someone did put effort in the spots they create however there could be reasons why the person didn't add a banner or icon. It's not always the result of being lazy,or a lack of caring..and besides it's not mine..nothing I do or say,would change the persons mind in the first place..even though a banner and icon would really be nice..not everyone sees it that way.
