I wasn't sure where to post this article so I decided to put it on this spot.
One year ago, the lives of many people around the world (especially of the people in Quebec) were turned upside down because of the death of Anastasia De Sousa. She was an innocent victim of the shooting that occurred at Dawson College in Montreal, Quebec exactly one year ago on September 13th, 2006. I just wanted to give her one moment of silence on this very sad anniversary and I was hoping you would all join me in this. I was completely devastated when I first heard the tragic news about this shooting last year because many of my friends attend Dawson College (thankfully, none got hurt). I did not personally know Anastasia but I do know her boyfriend because he came to my high school (and brought her to our prom). He is still in as much pain as he was the day she left him and her family and friends. The point of this article is to make people realize that life is precious and that it should never be taken for granted.
Thanks for reading the first article I have ever written and I'm truly sorry if I have made you sad.
