Can you open moderated threads on Fanpop?

All the craziness on the Huli spot is getting a little (-> big understatement) out of hand. The spoiler thread consists mostly of insult bouncing. Sadly, some fans don't know how to behave and when to stop before they overstep a line. It would be a shame for the whole of Fanpop to lose dedicated and valued fans due to those hooligans.
So the question: CAN you even open a moderaten thread?

what i would do if i were you:
1)alert papa to the situation. send him a message with links,info etc and ask for his help and to keep an eye on the thread.
2)report ALL inappropriate/abusive comments and the users who make them. give a detailed report in the notes section with examples of overstepping. (i will sometimes copy and paste parts of the comment)

try to be neutral in your comments for now and let the f4 sort it oot. you seem like youre a sensible person :P (also what the heck is the huli spot?)

Thanks for the info! Hm, pity you can't appoint mods to keep an eye on infantile teenager or grown people who don't act their age... One of your suggestions will probably be my way to go since this is beyond asshood what happens there! "sensible person" <- yeah, well I'm as crazed out as the next Fanpopper but I try xD And FYI the Huli spot is shipping the off-screen pairing of House's Hugh Laurie and Lisa Edelstein. But the spoiler thread mainly revolves about the TV show itself.

well now that you told me where it is i can look around too and help if i see anything inappropriate and flag it. by informing papa you ARE sorta keeping a mod around. also: ask the sane people on the thread for help. we have had a fair share of edrama on here and with a group of people providing reports (i.e. info) it should be die down sooner or later. ill check oot the spot :)
