is it normal when you look at your clubs in the sort method Highest Medal that a club that you contributed a lot to and have a lot of activity in is at the way back of the list with the other clubs that you didn't or barely contribute to?

Mine often act this way too. I'm not sure how accurate the "sort highest medal" method is for predicting in which club you'll get the next medal. However, medals might be based more on people interacting with your contributions than just the number of contributions you've made, so you might get a medal in a club where you've barely been active if people liked and interacted with what little you have added there.
