What's the difference between "all time gold producers" and "top recent gold producers"?

The "all time top gold producers" are the contributions which have earned the most gold over the last 6 months - that's as far back as the gold system can go, currently anyway. The "current top gold producers" are for a shorter range of time. Something like the last week, or maybe even day, I'm not certain.
