Is there a reason why after clicking "Join this spot" and it saying "You're a fan!", that on some pages it still says "join this club" in the fans section?

the page probably forgot to update that particular area, try refreshing it. if it still doesnt work and the club isnt "letting" you join, that would be a good reason to contact fanpop and report a bug.
