what is the best size for images to use to make a banner for the club/spot?

in the past, i tried to make a banner for a spot that i was going to create- only the pictures ended up looking blurry and messy. it looked awful.

any ideas?

800 x 100 pixels .. what program do you use if you don't know how to put this in.

ooh thinkning aboot it .. you can copy a banner.. paste it then you have the correct size of the banner... then you can delete the banner then you have the size correct

oblix- well, what i did was i uploaded the images from my USB stick on the banner. i don't use any program to do this. by the way, thanks for the tip- i'll give that one a try

well, as the banner is 800x100, in terms of image sizes what is the maximum? because, as i said, it often ends up looking blurry and crap. also there are some clubs, which don't have banners at all.

when resizing the image make sure the propotions arent messed up. what program do you use? if you resize the height youll have to adjust the width, if you dont it will look messy.in photoshop there is a box that you can check if you want to keep the proportions

of course the image needs to be larger than what youll need in the end, if you use a smaller one it will get blurry. i also remembered this guide from snerkie link
