What is the meaning of italics in your club list?

I'm pretty sure that it means that the club is still "Pending".

The F4 define Pending clubs this way:
"Pending clubs are new clubs created by fans like you. Once a pending club has a sufficient fan interest it is promoted to full club status."

So basically, if you look at all of the italicized clubs, you'll probably notice that most of them are either small or aren't very active.
