Well, my friends, it's that time of year again! Hope you're having a fantastic holiday season!

For those of you who are brand new to this, allow me to explain the basic rules, and update the old hats on some new rules!

The basic format of Secret Santa remains as it always has been. If you want to make and receive a gift this year, please add your name to link. Until November thirtieth, that's all you need to worry about, is getting your name on that list.

But when November thirtieth comes along, I will pair you up with another Fanpop user. I will then send you a private message with that user's name. You have from that point until December 25th to create a gift for that person.

Please keep in mind that you should MAKE the gift yourself. We had some confusion on that last year with people just finding YouTube videos and the like and posting it in "dedication" to the user. That's... nice, and all, but it'll mean more if you make the gift yourself.

"But how do I make a gift?" you may ask. That's simple enough to answer. Anyway you want. If you're strapped for ideas, I gave several in link. You can make a video, image, eCard, poem, short story, collage, song-- anything you want!

Just as last year, I'm calling for some Secret Elf volunteers. Secret Elves make gifts for people who, for whatever reason, didn't receive a gift this year. That means if your Secret Santa doesn't follow through on her promise, you have the Elves to help you out! If you're interested in being a Secret Elf, message me privately.

Now, for the new stuff this year! I had to keep track of Secret Santa gifts being added so I knew who to harass for being late on the job! In order to make my life a little easier, I would love it if, after you've added your gift to the spot, you could link to it on this article. OR, if you've sent your gift privately, just drop me a line and let me know so I don't bother you about not getting your gift in on time.

Cinders A few things. 1) I know you're anxious about getting a gift because it's Dec 26th and passed the deadline but-- 2) You shouldn't be. Why? Because if you read the rules, you know that even if your Secret Santa was a flake, you'll be assigned to a Secret Elf. SOME Secret Elf assignments have already been given out. Maybe it was yours. As for the rest, they'll be assigned in January because-- 3) I'm in Tunisia. I left my list at home, in Seattle. This means I cannot check up on who you were assigned to until I get home. 4) When I get back to Seattle, I will check the list, check the comments on this article as to who posted what where, and then I will message anyone I haven't heard from asking if/where they posted their gift, in case I missed it. 5) If they DIDN'T post their gift, I will yell at them, blacklist them, and give their assignment to a Secret Elf. In short - Chill out.

jedigal1990 okay just for everyones fyi i'm having some problems positng the link or the video on here but i did give the link to zanessaomgfan and she did see it just so you know srry zanessaomgfan that it was so late but i couldn;t get on the internet for like 3 weeks because it was disconnected and it was my first video so it took me a while to figure out what i was doing and srry i didn't know you didn't like taylor launter i should have paid more attention i feel bad that you had to wait so long really i do but i'm glad you saw it and hope you really enjoyed it

NCIS_Addict_87 I never received mine either... kept hoping it would come even though a secret elf but it didn't. =[ I know it's practically May, but I still haven't forgotten.

Cinders I'm sorry everyone. I got completely overwhelmed this time, with all the participants, and because more people volunteered, more people fell through, and I just lost track of everyone. If everyone who DIDN'T get a gift could message me and let me know, I still have my secret elves, and I can have them make you a spring-themed Christmas gift. Deepest apologies. It was so much work that I kind of just shut down, but I'm willing to make amends now, if you'll let me. I will ONLY put Secret Elves on gifts that are REQUESTED. And NO CHEATING - that means if you GOT a gift, don't ask for another one.

How did you discover fanpop?

I've been wondering this for a while. How did everyone discover fanpop? I found it when I googled, "The Office full episodes." I found them on fanpop and started looking at the other spots. All the media on each spot was amazing. There was so much stuff on one topic. I was office crazy for a while and was on there nearly everyday until I discovered the harry potter spot. Finally I met other people who loved harry potter as much as me. I started finding other spots with my interests. I even made a spot. I check fanpop everyday for updates. I've become a fanpop fanatic. So, how did you discover fanpop?
