I know the anime in fairutail zero ended without showing mavis and zeref's romance and how that caused her death. i only read some parts of the manga so does anyone know if this clip will come up later?
Yes the anime will show it when they reach the"Alvarez Empire'arc which was the arc in which the way the romance between Mavis and Zeref and the way Mavis died were shown.
