Is Leon really stronger than Erza at the moment?

There seems to be word going around that Leon is stronger than erza, because he could fight sheated kagura to a tie for 30 minutes and erza got owned. But it should be noted that against erza, kagura was clearly bloodlusted, and against leon, leon mentioned kagura wasn't serious with the fight, plus how the hell does yuka escape unscathed if kagura is serious, plus an argument i've heard in this respect is that had kagura taken out yuka, she would have left milliana open for leon to take out, and also kagura doesn't have a joke around personality. I just wanted to state all the facts on ground, mow i want to hear your ideas.

The only reason that he lost to gray is because he was using the very unbalanced one-handed ice make magic. That caused his downfall. The fact that he by the start of the oracion seis arc before the timeskip was considered to practically be an S-Class mage and was selected to take very dangerous quests just goes to show that he was considered one of the strongest mages in Lamia Scale, the number 2 guild at the time. After the timeskip i know for a fact that he has achieved his dream, he has surpassed Ur. thus meaning he has surpassed what would have been a Saint Wizard level mage. By this point he should be beastly, but because of Hiro's bad writing we havent seen him have one serious fight. He is the strongest Ice-Make mage in the series so far so he is definitely a match for Erza if not stronger.

however Erza was also considered equivalent to a Saint wizard level seven years ago so she has gotten in retrospect much stronger than a Saint wizard.

I see where you are coming from, but remember that erza is also confirmed to be at a high wizard saint level, with the pandemonium feat, and i agree that Leon getting seven years of missions should make him beast by now, but i remember him having to problems, first was the unstable one handed ice-make which he rectified, and the second was he didn't have a good body for taking hits, gray completely crushed him in that aspect as a reult of hi constant scuffles with natsu, anyways having this kind of weakness against an opponent who is a brawler is fatal don't you think. Plus remember when they were hyping up their aces, gray and leon, leon mentioned Jura being there and Gray mentioned erza being a monster, i think leon might have mentioned being able to beat erza. Anyways i completely understand where u are coming from, its why i asked the question.
