What will become of Fairy Tail?

When i heard this i honestly flipped out but apparently there was an interview with Hiro Mashima and he said in an interview that he was working on a manga at the same time as FT. WHAT?! He started this new manga around the end of the Tenroujima Island arc. That explains A LOT. That arc was good... until the ending. Friendship barrier? Really? *Face palm. Now i know why the Tenrou Island arc ended horribly. Honestly it explains why this arc has been bad too. The only legit fights so far have been Kagura versus Yukino, Kagura-Erza-Minerva threesome and the Gray vesus Rufus (and even the Gray/Rufus fight i had gripes with). Considering the fact that a lot of Shonens best arcs are tournament arcs, this arc should be amazing but it is not. If anyone says this arc was good, if they say it was okay i could take it, but if they say it is a good arc so far they are 1 of three things: 1) there is something wrong with them 2) they are the fans who ignore all negatives 3) they are catering to the fans of Fairy Tail. Honestly Hiro? Sorry but at this point... I may consider dropping Fairy Tail... I know i said it T-T. But really i refuse to be investing my time and energy into a series when the writer is not invested in the quality of the series. Give it your all or give none at all Hiro. But what do you think of this news?

I think that you need to see how this can develop, also i don.t really think that Mashima working on another series is going to influence fairy tail very much, since the story has never been really complicated. I think you may like Fairy tail for the wrong reasons or you expeect too much of it. Fairy tail is not really a very well developed manga (plot wise). what is awesome are the drawings and the fights mainly.( who gets stronger in the guild etc...).
I'm not saying that you shoud lower your standards but just change the way you see it.

okay i get what you are saying but... 1) Authors mainly get only 3-5 hours of sleep a day, to produce a good well-thought out chapter at the end of the week. There is no way he can produce good quality writing when he is writing two at the same time. 2) The fights....ARE STUPID. I will admit the artwork is done well, but the fights themselves are ridiculous. Honestly do not judge my enjoyment for FT. It USED to be good. Tenroujima and this arc are plain stupid. I know that FT is not a series to be taken too seriously but come on. Does that mean you should not bother about the quality. plot wise, right now i really dont care. in an attempt to juggle a main plot with a tournament has obviously failed for Hiro. The whole future Lucy stuff... I. Dont. Care. 3) Who gets stronger in the guild? Really? Natsu is powering-up his way to the top and that is not the way a manga should be, serious or not serious. I have no qualms about the power-up method. But at least attempt to develop your character in another way.The only thing that can save this arc, i mean make it an OKAY arc, is if an interesting backstory with Kagura/Jellal/Erza is revealed. That is the only way. The fights arent good at all.

This is your opinion. If you don't like the arc then just don't watch it. But honestly, you can't call the others who like this arc fool. Everyoje has their own opinion. And Natsu and the others trained at first, but then Virgo took them to the celestial spirit world and make a party for them. When they came back Ultear helped them to cross their limits and getting as strong as they had been with training.

I dint say if you like this arc you are a fool, I said if you go as far as to say it is a GOOD ARC you are a fool. and what a day of training actually counts now? please be serious.
