To use magic in Edolas you need Mystogan red pills. Lisanna was in Edolas, she got stronger according to Mirajane.She did not take pills... How did she train?

I'm pretty sure she had a magic weapon of some sort, like a sort of staff or was it sword, not sure. But remember, she was trying to hide that she had magic from her alterna siblings, seems hardly wise for her to be training with her magic power don't you think. I hope that answers ur question
