Evan has had a good week and continued to fare well after his first Marqibo treatment. His blood counts have continued to recover (i.e. platelets are 36 and hemoglobin is 10.1 today) and his leukemia cells (circulating blasts) have gone down to 1% (from 20% since I last posted). He received his second dose of Marqibo today and should be able to get the next one this coming Friday. Four doses will make up one complete cycle.

We are not sure when they will repeat a bone marrow aspiration, but we pray for the healing that we know the Lord Jesus...

Evan Gary is a 14 year old boy who has an amazing imagination. He is a normal boy, he likes legos, hexbugs, playing with his younger brothers, simon and jonathan, and playing on his ds. There's only one thing: he has leukemia.
