My 2 favs are The Raven and Alone. Because I can relate to the emotions that are relevant to each poem. I also love the way poe uses rymes and ties his poem together with a common theme

I like very much 'The Raven' but I can truly identify with 'Alone' - when I read it, it is as if I was reading about myself... It's like reading my own poem, too, as I write poetry since my childhood and only recently I started writing it in English (my native language is Polish), and my style is sometimes very similar to the style of Poe in that poem - 'Alone', even though I have never tried to actually copy him, nor any other poet, as I'm no copy-cat... I have only discovered that after I read some of his works in original, having previously read them in translations (which, to me, are real sacrilege, by the way) - and I had this strong sensation of déjà-vu... ;-) I love all his works but 'Alone' shall always be my favourite poem written by Poe. :-)
