I woke up with the sun beating right down on me. I slowly opened my eyes to be faced with the sun. I quickly closed them then slowly opened them. I noticed right away that I was in the field Duncan took me to last night. I looked over to see Duncan still asleep and I smiled.
I leaned up and stretched and rubbed my eyes. I grabbed my phone to see what time it was. I quickly freaked out realizing it was 11 am. My parents would know I was gone when they woke up for work.

The train makes a soft humming noise. I look up and see a light flickering. I look out the window and see the bright buildings. I sigh and take out my book.

"NEXT STOP! DETROIT!" a man over the speaker says. "Grr, this was supposed to be a non-stop train all the way to Chicago!" The Brunette yells.
