Courtney`s POV:I couldn`t believe it.My own dad tricked me.It`s the 21 century,I should be the one telling him all about what the 21 century is all about.So now my dad,my brother Kyle,his hound and I are in the truck going to my Grandma`s house."I don`t think you should be all pop starred up for these two weeks."my dad said."Two weeks?!"I asked."All I want to see is if the country girl in the inside still exists."he said."Stop the truck.I`m going home."I said.The truck stopped as I got out out and sat down."I`m not getting back in the truck dad.I`m going home."I said."Look around you.You are home."he said.I suddenly felt sumthing tug on my shirt.I turned around and saw a horse."Quit it!"I yelled at it."Now that truely is sad.You don`t even remember you`re own horse."my dad said."K.C?"I asked."Meet us back at the house.Bout a mile that way."my dad said.I changed into my regular clothes and got on K.C."Okay.Now don`t move."I said to the horse.I grabbed it`s mane and it jerked forward.I fell to the ground with a thud and called after K.C.I heard a thundering noise and turned around.It was another horse with a male rider.The rider didn`t look like he was from the country at all.He looked like he had came from the city.He caught up with K.C and brought him back to me."K.C doesn`t like to be riden by strangers."he said."I know.I own him."I said."Courtney?Courtney Stone?I`m Duncan.Duncan Coleman.We went to school together.Me and you went to your Grandpa`s farm and we got into that poison oak."he said."I know.I remember you okay."I said."Get on I`ll take you down to your Grandma`s place."Duncan said.I got on his horse and rode to the house with K.C."So what made you come back to Tennessee?"Duncan asked."My father."I simply said."Everyone was pretty sad when you went all pop star on us."Duncan said."I didn`t mean to!I mean,singing and living the life a pop star isn`t what you think it is."I said proving my point."Yeah.Okay."he said."I also remember you hanging me head-first over the horse coral."I said.Duncan chuckled and said,"Yeah.That was when I had the biggest crush on you.But don`t worry.I`m over it."I wasn`t too happy about that.I mean,Duncan was cute.But what he said kinda hurt me a little.We reached Grandma`s house and I got off Duncan`s horse."You know this is a good time to say 'thank you.'"Duncan said."I was getting to that."I said.I walked toward the front door and walked in.Music was playing and people were singing.Kyle came up to me and said,"Welcome home." " You remember cousin Luke."he said.Luke was holding a rat of some sort."What`s with the rat?"I asked."Ferret.Not a rat."Luke said.Kyle had on the biggest grin.I could tell he was glad to be 'home'."Great to be home."I said walking up stairs.The night came pretty quick.Not like L.A.I could not stop thinking about Bridgette.Still no thoughts come to mind.I also couldn`t stop thinking about Duncan.The way his teal,ocean eyes shinned.His smile.His laugh.He was hot and cute,but the only thing I`m getting done are these two weeks in th country.Rascal Flatts was on the front porch with my family singing.It was a good song.My Grandma came in and said,"You`re momma picked out this wallpaper when she was about your age.""I like it."I said smiling."You used to like alot of things 'bout coming to see me.I missed you Court."she said."Why does everyone keep saying that?"I asked."Well,maybe it`s the truth."she said."Good night sweet pea."my Grandma said."Good night Grandma."I said.
