I gazed at Gwen.
Gwen was getting married—Oh, and to who you ask? Well. He has a fine record of getting in Jail most of the time. He spends way too much on that Mohawk of his.
I laughed to myself. Ring any bells?
"Gwen, You look awesome!" My friend, Bridgette, exclaimed. "Dont you think so, Courtney?" Bridgette's green eyes tumbled onto me.
"Uhm.. Yeah.." I bit my lip, and grabbed a small shot of Tequila. Bridgette shot me a dissaproving glance. I shrugged and grabbed another small shot. Gwen twirled around in the Lacy old-fashioned dress. It was her grandmothers. It wasn't really.. That... Flattering. But, her grandmother insisted on her wearing it.
"Almost.. done..." Bridgette muttered as she pinned up the sleeves due to their size.
"C'mon..." Gwen groaned. Truth was, Gwen never really loved Duncan. She was only looking for a toy. No, she was only looking for his money. Since, Duncan had officially became a Famous Rockstar; he made millions on debut albums and appearance on TV shows.
"Nag-nag-nag." I sniped at Gwen as I took another shot. She glared.
"What? You're supposed to be happy on your wedding day, Gwen... Not sound like your grandmother when she has a Bad throat congestion." I smirked. I could already feel the woosiness in my head go crazy. Yup, I was... Screwed. Gwen only rolled her eyes and pushed Bridgette out of the way and admitted that she looked fine. Even though she didn't.
"Ahh... watch out for Bridezilla..." I slurred and giggled.
I was acting like a complete 5 year old, But it was so damn funny. The look on Gwen's face was priceless. Bridgette stiffled a laugh.
"Would you hurry, up? I want to have that ring on my finger." She growled. Her black eyes filled with Greed. That was the last straw. I grabbed her skinny, limp, arm and stalked over to the closet. "Thats it." I snarled and forced te door open, pushing her into it.
"You can't do this!," She yelled. "Duncan will wonder where I am!"
I scoffed. Like what species would want to remember this gold digger? I slammed the door shut and locked it. I turned to Bridgette. She was smiling wickedly. I could tell she was sick of Gwen too. She snatched my hand in her grasp and pulled me over to the mirror.
"You deserve him." She murmured before she started her magic on the dress, I had bought for the wedding.
Soon, The dress was a strapless. The edges were ruffled up and small black beads were embedded to it. A small hat, layed on top of my head; A fishnet covering my face.
"Bridgette.. I—" She smiled and pushed me out the double doors. The music Began to play. What? No. What was I going to say to Duncan when he finds out that his Gothic Princess was replaced with a Mocha-haired Monster.
I couldn't go back now. I bid my face with the fishnet. Everyone gawking at me; Like I was some unknown species. Duncan smiled at me.
Memories of him and I flooded through me head. Best friends since Pre-K to be exact. I managed to laugh. I remembered when he took my favorite, purple crayon and I immediatly sniped at him with my famous quote:
"Im a CIT! You can't just take it!"
Papparazzi had filled the front row of seats. They were snapping pictures of the whole thing. Where I, his best friend, would ruin everything.
There I was. Standing next to Duncan. My hand in his. Why didn't he say something? Or, Look! I'm not Gwen!
"Do you... Duncan Meyers. Take Courtney Justice? As your wife?" The pastor asked.
What? Courtney. Wait... Huh?
"I Do." He nodded.
"And.. Do you Courtney Justice.. Take Duncan as your Husbad?"
"I do."
What the Hell am I saying? This isn't my wedding. And, Why is Duncan not noticing that The Pastor is saying Courtney?
"You may now kiss the bride!"
Duncan grabbed my waist and mumbled,"I Know." before kissing me harshly. I melted into the kiss, and flashes of Camera's filled the entire room.
Actually, Duncan did find out. He knew it all along. He loved me. Not Gwen.
I had my, Bad Boy.
"I Love You, and only you." Duncan smirked.
"Back at ya." I laughed.

Is it wrong to fall in love with the wrong type of person? Is love even a word, or is it a made of vocablary used to define someone's unbelieveable passion for somebody. My farther always said to find a nice young lady, who I have to protected, and care for. But what if it turn around?
What if the lady is stronger than you? What if she's faster, or smarter than you? What if she wants to feed on you?
Could you really go that far to be with her? I mean my town, hunts there kind, to make sure there is none left standing.
When your in this kind of situation, who can stand by you love....or your people.....

Courtney's POV
"Don't forget to buy the sparklers Courtney!" My mom yelled at me while I went out to buy groceries and fireworks for the block party tonight.
"Stupid block party" I muttered under my breath. Every year my family lines up a block party. It would be fun, if there was someone my age on my street.
Instead I have to babysit runny-nosed 3 year olds. What a fun forth of July AGAIN!
First I bought the groceries and then I headed to go buy the fireworks. I was complaining to myself the whole time.
Duncan's POV
"Duncan we are going to a block party tonight, your coming!" My mom told me I was sitting on my bed carving another skull.
"Why can't I go out?" I asked "I don't want a repeat of last year!" My mom said "But it was fun! How was I supposed to know they where illegal!" I whined to my mom.
"Duncan your coming and that's final!"My mom stated and walked out the door. "Fine!" I yelled, I so wasn't looking forward to tonight.
Next part block party!
