Duncan`s POV:I looked everywhere around each class that I had.I have each and every class with and I sit by her in every one.She wasn`t there at all.The school day went by without Courtney.It was rainy and foggy outside.The bell rang after last period and I went t omy locker.I got my stuff and still didn`t see Courtney.I was really worried.Why did she say she can`t act noraml?Why is she so cold?Why was blood in her eyes?Hundreds of questions about her ran through my head.I got a headache just thinking about it.I started to walk around the school`s outside.I reached the back of the school and saw a dark figure.It was Courtney sitting on the ground."Hey.There you are."I said.She looked up at in suprise and jumped up."Why are you here?"she asked."Cause I`m worried about you."I said."Why?"Courtney instantly asked.I was confused again."I mean why are you worried about me?"she asked again more specific.I didn`t say anything."You shouldn`t be worried about me.If you know what`s good for you,you`d go away and leave me alone."Courtney said."You already are alone to meAnd you look like you need a friend."I said coming closer.

Courtney`s POV:I can`t tell him.I swore I would never tell anyone.I felt the so called tears fill up in my eyes."I can`t act normal."I said."Why?"he asked.I didn`t say anything else."I`m good at keeping secrets."Duncan said."That`s what they all say then they go and-"I said then I was interupted by a kiss.I my eyes were wide then I slowly closed them.After a minute,I pushed him away then said."Stop.I can`t do this.""Yes you can."he said."No.You don`t understand.I can`t."I said looking down."Why do you always look down?"Duncan asked."What?"I asked."Why do you always look down?"Duncan asked again."I don`t know."I said."Alright.Then tell me this.Why are so cold?Why do you have blood in your eyes?And why can`t you act normal?"Duncan asked."Too many questions."I simply said."Okay,one at a time.Why are you so cold?"he said."The weather."I said."Why do you have blood in your eyes?"he asked."Health condition."I said."And why can`t you act normal?"Duncan asked.I didn`t say anything and just walked away.

Duncan`s POV:She`s not giving me the answers I want to hear."You are telling me lies."I said to her.She stopped and turned around.I held out my hand that had her diary in it`s grasp.She quickly took it back and hugged me.I hugged her back."Stop.Your smell."she said."What?"I asked seriously confused now."Thanks for giving it back."Courtney said."What`s with you?"I asked.She didn`t say anything.She looked around for anyone coming or watching.She looked at me then smiled.Not a normal smile.She opened her mouth and two fangs came out.
