Duncan's Pov.
** 5 Weeks Later.**
Ugh.
Stupid hangover.
I slapped myself until I could finally look for a clock And, my surroundings.
Okay. Clear vision. Now, let's see where I am.
I was in a small, deserted, alley. A low lit postlaml was flickering by a dumpster. I moaned and stood up.
Alright. Right foot. Left foot. Right foot. Left foot.
I stumbled down the streets until I could finally get to a payphone.
Aha.
A small blue Payphone was standing across the street. I looked at both ends of the street before crossing over to the payphone. I dropped 25 cents into the slot and pressed onto the numbers and waited for The Party boy's voice to greet me.
"Hello?" A husky voice answered.
"Yo, Geoff. Can you.. Pick.. Me.. Up?" I Stuttered. There was a long pause. Then, a low whispering.
"Uh, Duncan... I can't. I have.. Homework to do.. See ya!" Then, All I could hear was the dial tone.
Geoff? Homework? Not possible. I took a glance at the numbers and dialed another number.
"Hello?" DJ Answered.
"Hey, Deej. Can you pick m-"
"DJ! Come clean your room!" DJ's mother exclaimed in the background.
"Sorry, man. Can't."
Dial tone, Once again.
25 Cents again.
I pricked my fingers against the number keys again and waited; Impatiently.
"Hello?" Tyler replied.
"Tyler, Pick me up why dont'cha?"
"Baby, Who's that?" A seductive voice said In the background. Lindsey of course.
"No, one. Babe," He paused. "Dunc, Im a little busy right now.." Then, He hung up.
Ugh. Seriously? No one is willing to help out a guy in need?
Damn.
I sighed and let the phone slip through my fingers. Everything is so F*cked up.
I slumped onto the nearby Bench and watched endlessly at the road that looked like it would never end.
Thats it. I snatched the Phone into my palms again and dialed a number that I haven't dialed for some time...
Yeah, Im an idiot for trying but... Hey... I'm desperate.
