These are just some poems I wrote that reminded me of dxc so here it goes!

Sugar
roses are red
violets are blue
sugar is sweet
but not sweeter than you

Have you heard of honey dew grass?
my grass is covered in honey dew grass today
today my heart is as dry as desert sand
today i say to you will you be the honey dew to heart or will it go on dry and lonely?
my grass was covered in honey dew yesterday
yesterday my heart was as dry as desert sand
yesterday i said to you will you be the honey dew to my heart or will it go on dry and lonely
but today my heart has drank from you and i fall into your arms like honey dew falls onto grass

You live on
your gone out of my life
out of my world
but like trees you live on
when trees shut down, change colors, and leaves fall off
i get to thinking of how you, lay in bed, your heart stops, and your gone
but like trees you live on

air
swish swish swish swish
the air blows through my hair
my heart has pain
since you've left
but i hear you right now
your the water i drink
the food i eat
and the air i breath
i told you to leave with anger
now i need you
i want you
i love you
but i can't have you
now I'll have to listen for you in the air

Love
what makes birds chirp in spring
what makes Christmas bells ring
what makes kids laugh and have fun
what scares the deer to make it run
all these things are hard to explain
like answering why it has to rain
or trying to explain why love is so heartbreaking
even though at first it's so breathtaking
we cannot keep someone forever
but why do they have to change
just like the weather?

Red
i hate the color red
its the color of pain
the color of hurt
the color of a thorned rose
the color hits my heart like a bomb
its the color of his shirt
the color of his lips i once kissed
the color of love we used to share
and the color of the rose he gave me when he said good-bye
