recap! the cops think duncan stole mony from a bank.
"what!?!?!?" the cop looked at her and said."we think he..." "I know what you said!" courtney turned to look at duncan who was trying to get away. "OH NO YOUR NOT!" the cop said seeing him too. two other cops came and grabed him by the arms. As they draged duncan away duncan could not help but look back at courtney she was crying on her mothers arm. Duncan felt a tear go down his face as the three cops drove him away. the last he saw of courtney that day was her running to the house.
Courtney ran into her room and loked the door. She ploped on her bed and cryed for a long time. when she stoped she felt for something around her neck her hand came to rest in the center of her chest where if you looked close you could see a little charm was tucked under her shirt as if she did not want any one to see. She got up and decided to walked to the police station the next day.
It was aboute 12:00 when courtney got there. She had been granted permishon to talk to duncan.When Duncan saw her he looked very happy but when he saw courtney's face he looked at her and said "What is the matter?" Courtney looked at him and started to cry in a few seconds she stoped and said very soft "I'm sorry Duncan it's over." she pulled a string that hung around her neck and gave it to him then she ran away. Duncan looked at the charm she had given him. He saw a wooden skull. " no." duncan said soft then some cops came and put him back in his sell.
