A/N: THIS IS IN SAMANTHA'S P.O.V

I cant believe I got caught! Ugh...
Let me explain: Courtney is ALWAYS the better child, always has been, always will be.
I hate preps, so I hate her. She just irks me so much! So when she bought Duncan home after the TDA, I thought I could mess with him to keep him away from Courtney.
Y'know, mess things up with her. So, I hatched a plan before I went to that party...

FLASHBACK!
"So, you get him alone. Act all scared, push him away as if he's been coming onto you, claim he raped you" my father said.
"Yes, daddy, ofcourse" I smiled evilly.
"Whats going on?" Courtney walked into the room, looking at us suspiciously.
"Nothing" me and my father replied in unison.
"Well... never mind" she shook her head.
Father had grounded her for hanging around with Duncan the night before... making out.
So, my plan was ready.

Duncan's POV
We had arrived at my house, and Courtney left with tears in her eyes.
I called on of my best buddys, and waited for him to answer his cellphone.
RING. . .
RING. . .
RING. . .
"Hey it's _____" he finaly answered.
"Hey dude it's Duncan"
"Hey dude, what's up?"
"Nothing special, wanna go with me to Calefornia next weekend?"
"I would love to, but i can't!"
"Why?"
"I'm gonna hang out with my brother, nothing special."
"Why can't you just say you can't?"
"Sorry, i just can't! I gotta go, see ya!"
And then he hung up. . .

(TDI, TDA and TDWT never happened)
I was toppled over by scrapbooks, ribbons, medals and a big canvas bag when I opened the closet door. What really caught my eye was the huge canvas sack that almost pulverized my leg. I wrenched myself out and pulled the bag over to my bed. I dug out my little sister's, Cookie's (her real name is Charlise), little plastic "Sheriff" badge and giggled. I placed it down and pulled out an unopened letter that I never have seen before. I opened and read it:
Dear Miss Courtney Langerak,
Thank you for help saving our ranch from MorcuCorp! We really appreciate your concern for all of the horses and the ranch. You are welcome to come here anytime!
From,
Vickie
Barry
Duncan
and the rest of Carousel Ranch!
I ran my fingers over the printed words, especially Duncan's. There was a picture in the envelope of me and Duncan. I now remember how we helped Carousel Ranch like it was yesterday...
