Okay‚ this is the first Songfic of my series‚ so if it sucks... i'm sorry. I think i did pretty good for my first story EVER! so here ya go...

When I first met her‚ I though she was just some stuck-up princess. But I realized there was more to her than I thought. With her soft brown hair‚ long legs‚ mocha skin‚ cute freckles‚ a million-dollar smile‚ and her gorgeous onyx eyes. She was basically like perfection.

I did everything to get her to feel the same way about me. I carried her books‚ I gave her rides home‚ I even did the cheesiest thing ever and threw pebbles at her window. But what got her was when I graffitied the school by writing 'D+C forever' on the front of the school. Everything was perfect.

When we became a couple nothing could ruin it‚ or at least that's what I thought. Her parents hated me‚ whenever I came over they treated me like dirt. Saying that she could have done so much better than a delinquent like me. After a while‚ I started to agree.

I started asking her if she made the right choice in choosing me rather than any of the other guys she could have had. I realized the differences between us and started pointing them out to her‚ even pointing out our eye color difference‚ asking her why she was still with me when we're so different.

She got tired of me saying how we shouldn't be together because of our differences. When she broke up with me‚ my heart probably shattered into a million pieces. I loved her‚ and I knew she loved me‚ but she just couldn't take the constant reminder of how different we were.

I tried to get over her‚ tried to forget that she was the first person that actually‚ truly cared about me. Other girls asked me out constantly‚ but none of them could replace my princess. When I passed by her in the halls‚ it was the break-up all over again. The same pain‚ sadness‚ hurt‚ and most of all‚ heartbreak.

She started going out with this guy named Sam‚ I hated him for taking her away‚ but she was happy. She got that glint back into her onyx eyes‚ the one she used to get when we were together. How much I missed her‚ I would do anything to get her back‚ but I knew it was no use.

The only way I knew what was going on in Courtney's life was her older brother‚ Derrick. He and her younger brother‚ Jason were the only ones in her family that actually liked me. He said she didn't talk about me anymore‚ but always got upset when my name was said. They said that Her and Sam broke up after she found out he was cheating on her with this chick named Heather. I wanted to make everything in the world perfect so that it could wipe away her tears.

The next week‚ I got a call from Geoff‚ saying that Derrick got into a car accident‚ and that Courtney was bawling her eyes out. I wanted nothing more than to comfort her‚ after the month she had‚ she was probably ready to either kill someone‚ or spill her feelings out.

I decided to go to the hospital‚ even though one of the things she would be doing could seriously damage me. She needed me now more than ever‚ even if she didn't realize it yet. I would be there for both her and Derrick‚ at this point she she would probably be crying hysterically in a fetal position‚ and would just love to get a hug from her beloved ex-bad boy.

When I got there‚ I was somewhat right. She was crying hysterically‚ but she was also yelling a the poor nurse who told her that she couldn't go and see Derrick. Well she did look like she was going to kill someone‚ right now the best bet was the nurse. As hot as Princess is when she's pissed‚ I decided to cut in and spare the terrified nurse.

As soon as she saw‚ she looked like she was a mix of happiness‚ confusion‚ and shock. "What are you doing here Duncan?" she asked with her eyes full of pure confusion. I answered in the calmest way I could considering I was so damn happy that she wasn't super-pissed that I was there‚ "Geoff called and told me about the accident‚ I wanted to see if Derrick was alright‚ I wanted to see if you were alright."

"Why do you care‚" she replied harshly‚ "we're too different‚ remember?!" I didn't know how to reply in words because if I said the wrong thing‚ she'd be even more pissed. So I did the one thing that would say it all‚ the one thing that i've wanted to do since the break-up. I kissed her.

She resisted for a few seconds‚ but she then gave in and started kissing me back. I held her as if she would slip through the cracks‚ because she did. The kiss lasted for a good five minutes before we had to break apart. She stayed in my arms‚ and looked at each other like we were the only people in the room.

"Still think were that different?" she said with a sweet smile on her face. "No‚" I said "now that I think about it‚ I wish I could take it all back‚ and honestly‚ I've regretted it ever since the day you broke up with me." "I love you Duncan" she said with the biggest smile i've ever seen on her face. She said the words that i've thought about her a hundred times‚ but never actually said. Once i spoke‚ all of my feelings were said in six words "I love you too‚ Princess Courtney."
