I stared at the ground,silent."I understand.And I'm sorry."Duncan let go of my arms."It's okay.I shouldn't have done that.It was too harsh."Duncan said sadly."It's fine.Hey um,I've semmingly caught cold,so could you get me some goodies and medicine please?""Of course."Duncan replied with a smile.He kissed me."I'll see you soon."I went into the bathroom and changed into my silk robe.It was beautiful,with stiching and beads all over it.Duncan had bought it for me last anniversary,and Duncan knew I wore it only on holidays,after showers,and when I was going to do something special for Duncan.I had really felt bad the past years since I hadn't given him any children.I hadn't even taken his last name!The reason I was so scared to have children,was because of Gwen.You see,I knew she was always plottning to get Duncan away from me,but Duncan didn't see it.Over the past few months,in fact,the past few years,he had been hanging out with her.Alone.Because I wasn't invited,she would say.I was afraid if we had a child,she would try harder.Also,I was in fact very afraid of the risks that came with pregnancy.And I had been pregnant for a month once,so I knew what it was like to hold a child.I arranged candles all around the room,along with rose petals.I took out Ducan's lighter,which was lying on te table,and lit the candles.I pulled out the pies,and put them on the bed too.I heard the door and walked out and greeted Duncan."That was fast."I commented."Ooh...baby.The robe....What have you done?"He asked suspiciously.I also used it to bribe him."Well,let me see..."I said taking off his jaket."Would you like pie,or me?""Mmmm...I'm gonna say pie."He said.We both laughed."Come on."I pulled him into the bedroom."Ooh....can I have both?"He asked."Maybe.If you're nice.""Oh,I'll be nice.I promise."He said nodding his head up and down.I pulled him on the bed next to me."What first?"I asked him."Not pie."He said leaning over to kiss me."You're delicious.What are you wearing on your lips?"He asked me."Pomagranate lip gloss."I replied with a little laugh."Ahh..."He laid on top of me,but I rolled over to lay on his chest.I kissed him very gently,and wrapped my arms around his neck.I reached back and grabbed a pie."I can't stand that hungry look any longer.Eat some."I handed him a fork and gave him a peice."Oh yeah,I didn't give you the stuff I bought!"He exclaimed,mouth full of food,standing up to go get it."Babe,I can wait.Just eat."I kissed him and licked my lips."Courtney you do better and better each year."He said commenting on the pie."Oh,I know.But I don't mean the pie."I suggested."Oooh...I love this nniversary."I kissed him and lay next to him,where I slowly fell asleep.Later.I woke up in Duncan's arms as he whispered in my ear.He tended to do that when he thought I was asleep.I faked to see what he was saying."Sweet,sweet Courtney.When we were sixteen,and I first saw you,no one would've ever thought we would be here.I never imagined that someone like you would acually have affectinos for me.And I would have affections for you.There's something wrong though.Something you won't tell me that I wish I knew.I don't know if it's the pregnant thing,or the Gwen thing,or both.I just wish you would tell me.And...I'm talking to someone who's asleep."He said in realization as if he were crazy."No you're not."I told him."Oh.Morning princess!"He said cheerfully hoping I didn't hear much.I looked at him skeptically."You heard it all."He said."Yeah.And I'm not hiding anything from you.Don't worry alright?"I said softly."Sure."I'll go get dressed."Duncan said running to the closet.While he was there,I went ino the bathroom and took a pregnancy test.And get this? IT WAS POSITIVE.

We break away from the kiss and gaze into each others eyes. "Duncan never leave me, i dont want to raise a child on my own." She says as a tear trickles down her cheak. "You wont have to cause ill be here everyday right by your side." I say. She looks up at me and nods. Then she hugs me tight.

"Duncan what should we do? My parents are coming home in Less than 4 days!" Courtney says. "We
should just run away from here and live somewhere else." I suggest. "Okay but where?" She asks. "Somewhere were we can take care of a child." I say. "I'll pack my stuff." She says. "Okay and ill start my car when your all packed up, okay?" I say. "Okay." She says. Then i kiss her on the cheak. Then she walks up the stairs to her room to get her stuff. I sit on the bottom stair waiting for courtney. A smile forms across my face. "Im going to be a father." I whisper to myself.
