Dogs Question

Sound Suspisious?

O.k,my dogs were gone one day,their always leaving.i don't live in the middle of town,and two didn't come back.And the suspisious part,one of the dogs that came back,looked like they had been shot at.And my mom said she heard a gun.Then,in a few days we saw vultures,or buzzards depending on what you call them,circling around something in the woods.
