15. Once Upon A Dream - Sleeping Beauty

The gleam in your eyes is so familair a gleam

This is a beautiful song, great lyrics, great melody, great background, great lyrics.....great everything, just no great enough to get past number 15 (have I said "great" enough times? :P)

14. Reflection - Mulan

Now I see that if I were truly to be myself, I would break my family's heart

I love this song. The lyrics completely express how Mulan feels and Lea Salonga sings it with such emotion.

13. Can You Feel the Love Tonight? - The
Lion King

Seeing through the night's uncertainties, love is where they are

This is the perfect love song. I'd want it played at my wedding, it's very romantic and it's just....beautiful.

12. I'll Make a Man Out of You - Mulan

Did they send me daughters when I asked for sons?

Lol...this song is so sexist that it makes it awesome. I wasn't offended by it though, and I'm a female :P The scene is freakin' epic, and the singer, talk about amazing.

11. I Won't Say I'm in Love - Hercules

At least out loud, I won't say I'm in love

This song is so realistic that it's overwhelming. Speaking of overwhelming, Meg seemed so overwhelmed by being in love, which she refuses to admit. Well, at least out loud she refuses to admit it.

10. Out There - The Hunchback of Notre Dame

All my life I've wondered how it feels to pass a day not above them, but part of them

Holy crap, this song is PHENOMENAL! It's kind of underrated. It's funny, because even though Frollo's undeniably evil, he's kind of right in this song. I mean, they were mean to Quasimodo, so this is one of the only scenarios where Frollo is actually right. Well, you can't really blame him for falling in love with Esme, either, I mean, look at her :P

9. Part of That World - The Little Mermaid

Wouldn't I love to explore that shore up above?

I loved this song since I was just a little kid, well, I guess that isn't really all that surprising, probably all little girls love this song. Again, this song expresses so much emotion and meaning, and probably a lot of people can relate to it, wanting something you know you can never have, I recognize that from somewhere D:

8. Beauty and the Beast - Beauty and the Beast

Tale as old as time, true as it can be

Again, another song that I'd consider playing at my future wedding. This song is slow and moving, but yet phenomenal at the same time. Very touching.

7. A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes - Cinderella

Whatever you wish for you keep

One of the things I like about this song is that it's so true, a dream actually is a wish your heart makes. It's the perfect way to start off the movie, because it's like you get to know Cinderella fully just by the first scene.

6. Baby of Mine - Dumbo

Rest your head close to my heart, never to part, baby of mine

Despite it being so depressing, I love this song. I listen to it whenever I'm sad, well, it's one of the songs I listen to when I'm sad.

5. A Whole New World - Aladdin

Tell me, Princess, now when did you last let your heart decide?

Again, another wedding song, well, not really. I LOVE this song, it's beautiful.

4. Hellfire - The Hunchback of Notre Dame

Why do her scolding eyes still scorch my soul?

Wow, talk about EPIC. The best villain song EVER. EPIC EPIC EPIC!!

3. Belle - Beauty and the Beast

Behind that fair facade, I'm afraid she's rather odd, what a puzzle to the rest of us this Belle

Many may disagree with how this song got so high on my list, but I love it. I don't know why, I just love it. It's a very good way to start off the movie. Maybe the reason why I love it is because Belle's town is just like mine, exactly the same everyday.

2. God Help the Outcasts - The Hunchback of Notre Dame

I thought we all were the children of God

This song is beautiful. I love how Esme's main song isn't about dreams coming true or Prince Charming or something, it's about a serious issue. Sometimes I just want to play this song for everybody on Earth, and see if our world becomes a better place.

1. You've Got a Friend in Me - Toy Story

Just remember what your old pal said; "Boy, you've got a friend in me"

Sorry to all you Pocahontas fans out there, but this song sooooo deserved those awards over "Colors of the Wind." This song is about loyalty and friendship, it's great, I love love love LOVE it! Lol, it's obvious that this song is my favorite Disney song

Persephone713 OH, you put " Baby of Mine" in there. That makes me cry. So sad little Dumbo cant be with his mother. I love Dumbo. Great songs. Disney has the Best songs all of them are so catchy. I cant think of one I dont like

onepiecefan59 Out there is such a powerful song and is one of my favs along with God help the Outcasts which mainly focuses on the religious rejections and abuse in the paris society

nduns This is a very good list but if you're interested, here are my 15 favorites (One per film and in no particular order) I've Got a Dream Never Had a Friend Like Me Gaston Go the Distance Colors of the Wind Make a Man Out of You (It's so nice to see a girl who can look past the sexist theme of the song and accept the fact that it simply represents how men actually thought during that time period) Under the Sea Hellfire I Just Can't Wait to be King I Wanna Be Like You (Sorry, Bear Necessities, the less iconic one gets your spot) Why Should I Worry (Something tells me this one shouldn't be list-worthy, but I do find myself listening to it a LOT) A Boy Needs a Dog (Bet you've never heard of that one because it's from the Teacher's Pet movie, a film barely anyone, including fans of the show ever saw) Perfect World (This song is the one thing barely anyone remembers from Emperor's New Groove) Friends on the Other Side (Probably one of the few times a song has frequently changed its melody and still worked. Take that, Ruber's song!) No Strings (I dunno, there's just something about this one)

I've been meaning to get to this article for a long time, but things kept getting in the way. I had school work, my job (which thank goodness I get to quit), other articles, and new movies that I wanted to add to this list. I even thought of making this a top 100 list, but when I attempted to do that it was just too overwhelming. Plus with new movies coming around I was afraid it would change. I think that all of these movies are genuinely amazing, no matter their flaws. There are no guilty pleasures on here, just what I consider to be truly amazing Disney movies. 10. Aurora

I haven't watched Sleeping Beauty in a very long time and I don't remember much about it so I have to put her at the bottom. Sorry Aurora!

9. Cinderella & Ariel

I usually avoid ties but I couldn't decide who I like better! I like Cinderella because she is patient, mature, and wise. She was abused for so many years and never turned cruel like most people would. As for Ariel, she is independent, proactive, and stands up for what she believes is right. I love both of them, I really do. It's just that I like the ones higher on the list better.
