Is Atlantica from the Little Mermaid in or near Malta?

Hello
Given the influence of both European and Arabic architecture as well as the palm trees and Euro-Arab style culture, is it fair to place Atlantica from the Little Mermaid in or just off the coast of Malta?
I know Malta is quite far South and is closer to Africa than Europe if my braille maps are anything to go by, but the scenes my friends describe to me are rather Maltese instead of Danish, like where Hans Christian Andersen is from.

Well actually Atlantica, or otherwise known as Atlantis is mostly ment to be based on Greek construction and agriculture, and given all of the European clothing the humans was wearing they was definitely Danish people, no offense to you I don't know where you're seeing Arabic culture but it's definitely not in the little mermaid movie, maybe the movie Atlantic the lost city but not the little mermaid, so yeah all things in the little mermaid was meant to be 13-15th century European culture and Atlantica is meant to have Greek construction design, and you can confirm this because king tryton is the son of Poseidon and seems to be welding his trident.
Hope this helps
